It's how fights tend to work dude. Delph's sweeping lunge tackle just doesn't look to be in the works.

What makes anyone think something as gauche as a tackle would be so effective in a street fight? Were it a shoot in for a double leg or something that would be one thing, but just running at the guy and spearing him?

Because most people aren't particularly skilled.

In real fights people brawl and shit, sure, but try to throw sloppy punches against a boxer and you'll be outpunched, just like if you were to try and grab a wrestler or BJJ practitioner to spear him to the ground you'll be out-grappled.

The issue here is that Digi skills as a boxer are unquantifiable at this point. Delph definitely does have the size edge though. Which is why him getting to close for Digi to box is such a game changer.

Bentley is right though. We're losing sight of the bigger issue.
