Now, what you have to realize is that Thor will be rendered immobile via force hold. If he cannot move, he cannot throw the hammer.

Wrong, the hammer is more powerful then Anakins TK. Please get off you wanking, Anakin has zero TK ability compared to a person like Yoda. He does not need to throw the hammer to use the hammer. He can control it with his mind, and it appears to have a mind of its own in some scenes.

Anakin has zero force hold feats. Thor can use his hammer without throwing it.

Anyway, I have an issue with the TK versus super strength argument. I realize for plot sake jedi wont use TK ad nauseam due to boring and repetitive battles but it doesn't sit right with me that it'd be easy or even possible to toss around or paralyze Hulk, Thor, Supes etc. I cant prove anything at the moment.

Seriously I forget. How did Luke get that portcullis to fall on the rancor?
