He will be in flight by the time they try to restrain him. Try to keep up.Thor throws Mjolnir. They die.
Or you can quote a scene where Thor takes off immediately, like BOOM, gone. From what I remember, Thor has to spin his hammer a second before taking flight.

Actually no he does not have to spin his hammer to take flight if he does not want to, go watch the movie. He took off after destroying the destroyer with Jane without a hammer spin, and after he rescued jane after absorbing the either in Thor 2.

So it seems he doesn't need to do his silly little spin first if Jane in close by, but needs to if she isn't.
I don't think Jane is in this fight.

And the other times in Thor 2 he flew without Jane, without having to spin it? Are we going to say he can't fly without Jane now Rob? Lets be real.

Whether or not he can fly without the hammer is moot, he will never get the chance. And for the record, I never said Thor had to have he hammer to fly, I was merely quoting how long it takes him to do so when spinning the hammer.
Also, if you are gonna claim that Thor can fly without his hammer, prove it.

Thor can fly without spinning his hammer.I don't know how that is even a question when Mjolnir is self-propelled.
According to movie depictions that doesn't seem to be the case. But its a moot point because Dooku cant force choke or paralyze Thor anyway. Thor is levitated, spins the hammer and Dooku dies.

IIRC, he spins his hammer first before flying more times than naught.
When Thor fights IM he doesn't spin his hammer to take flight. When he breaks out of the falling glass prison, he also doesn't spin his hammer. In fact, I'm pretty sure he flies more times without spinning the hammer than he does spinning it.

Pre Cog does not give them access to the future, it gives them access to predict blaster fire, your really good at exaggerating pre cog and all its worthlessness. Didn't help Obi much against Jango or Order 66.

Damn. You might be right. Except about flies more without spinning. Either way he beats dooku. Ill watch the helicarrier and IM scene again though.

To be fair, how many times have we seen Thor take off from the ground anyway? I can think of at least 4 instances when Thor flew without twirling his hammer. There might even be more but I'll have to check to be sure. In TDW he also jumped off a balcony and just grabbed on to Mjolnir while it was passing by. No twirling as well. I don't really recall him twirling his hammer for flight in TDW.

It warns them against any and all incoming attacks. They know what their opponent is gonna do before they do it.
It did help Obi WAan against Jango, he was blocking dual wield blaster fire.
Order 66? The dark side had hindered the Jedi's ability to see the future, this is why they were so easily dispatched by the Clones. Asgardains have no access to the force, therefore there is no dark side of the force to hinder the Jedi from using the force.
So, Thor is TK'd and rendered immobile, then decapped. You need to accept this.

Yeah it warns them, it doesn't them were exactly the attack comes from. Thor and Loki are also much more faster so they should land the 1st blows.
He was having difficulty to.
No they didn't lol.
TK has never worked on powerful people like Thor, until they do you can't make that assumption.
