Its not about collateral damage your the one implying so. Planet buster is a rank applied when talking about character abilities in the forum community.

I think you are a nice guy and I mean no harm but this is the most insane argument I have ever heard of in my life. Do you not understand that everything you said is about Collateral damage? If character A is a million times more powerful and shoot a blast with all of his might but it doesn't destroy the building that they are standing in (but it kills or seriously injure a being that is of equal powerful) then on the other hand you have character B shooting. A blast that destroys a planet but he effortlessly does it and he is millions of times less powerful than the guy that shot a blast with all of his might but didn't destroy a building. You are saying that the planet busting blast is more powerful which is WRONG AND it IS COLLATERAL DAMAGE. What other reason would you say the planet busting is more powerful? Do you know what collateral damage means?

You were just talking about collateral damage? In your post before this one so how is my question irrelavant.

Final form frieza could have destroyed the planet faster but he used most of it fighting goku.

Yo if any dbz character were to just sit there without charging ki or anything and take a planet buster they would take damage.

Vegeta, trunks ,goku, gohan,Frieza,cell, buu and others have all been hurt by characters weaker than themselves i dont understand why you cant believe it its in the show. The evidence is literally in your face if you go back and watch it.

You cant just say they would tank a planet busting attack when all evidence counts to the contrary. They always either deflect them or run away.

Toriyama doesnt care about consistency when he writes for dbz he creates new rules for the verse by the second and has contradicted things in the story more than one once. An example the story of bardock and goku's mother.Someone like you who loves the show would call these things nitpicking but i like consistency.

While I usually will jump on the whole "Chasedown is a retard" bandwagon, he's right on this one.

What you're saying is that a mini-black hole is weaker than a zhar bomb because it has a smaller AOE.

Generally, bigger AOE means bigger force. However, in things such as DBZ, and even a lot of comics, characters make their attacks smaller and more condensed so they don't destroy everything around them. Final form Frieza told SSJ Goku that he could destroy Namek with a gesture, but he didn't because he wanted to prove he could beat Goku with his own power, not his biological advantage. Why do you think Thanos fighting the Silver Surfer didn't destroy Earth, when he casually shrugged off attacks from the universe busting Galactus?

That's where power-scaling comes in. You have to gauge from statements, feats, common sense ,and author-approved literature how strong someone is in fiction. Not petty assumptions and nit-picking.

If you truly want to debate collateral damage vs power output regarding DBZ characters, then again, you all know nothing concerning DBZ. I dont think you read everything me and this guy was debating on. The radius of a DBZ blast doesn't have a thing to do with the power behind said attack.

Wrong word. He didn't tank it, he withstood it while being near death. Crazy thing is, Super Saiyan Goku is more durable than planet withstanding Frieza. Planet busting withstanding Frieza was chopped into small pieces by Trunks. Goku Finger withstood the same blade that turned/cut planet busting withstanding Frieza to ice cubes.

We are not talking about real fights here. What I am telling you is, you are saying that Frieza can kill those people. Lol...sneak attacks are possible. If Vegeto is busy fighting some else...First Form planet busting Frieza could land an attack off and per your admission, this version of Frieza would kill him.

Also...it's kind of a DBZ thang to stand there and let someone far weaker land an attack. With that said...if Super Saiyan 3 Goku or Vegeta did that to a Frieza who's power level was 500k versus their billions...they are dead. Great logic my friend.

Have a question. Would Vegeta suicide blast that he used against Fat Buu kill planet busting withstanding near death Frieza? Frieza withstood a planet exploding on him twice the size of earth. I'm pretty sure he can withstand an attack from Super Saiyan 2 Vegeta putting everything into one blast (that didn't destroy the planet...it just left a crater)?
