Their responses to pain are more akin to reflexes and do not manifest itself in a way that could cause trauma.

Birds too have a more advanced limbic system than fish. For instance, swans may commit suicide---by pecking out their own intestines---if their partner dies.

He's just making things up now to justify his hatred of fish and love of eating them while trying to feel superior. Don't be fooled by his ruse.

He explained his claim above, by committing a form of swan seppuku

They have those long necks, so it would be a matter of aiming at their belly and pecking uptil they punch through feathers, skin and muscle.

Male swans have a penis, that is a true fun fact.

that's horrible. 🙁 poor swans 🙁

Well the endorphins released by the stress of physical pain also numbs the psychological pain it's suffering from.

That pic doesn't prove that swans commit suicide cos they lost their partner. For all we know that swan has Autism and flipped out cos someone tried to get it on a none Qantas aeroplane.

Both. Although not every swan commits suicide when its partner dies, some just choose to live alone for the rest of their lives.

Swans are also delicious

Swan, horse, whale... are there any animals on this Earth that you've not tasted?
