I don't really think it was that epic at all for Grievous. Just shows his typical "less than fair" tactics.
I mean she was already fighting off 2 Sith Lords! Then that creep decides to come in and take the opportunity to stab her.
It's really no more bad ass then the clones killing all the Jedi during Order 66.

I'm wondering if Talzin in Dooku's body had the same skills as as she had in her own body?
She probably had all her powers but she may also have been weakened in Dooku's body. Makes sense considering Sidious won that Saber fight pretty easily whilst in her own form she was giving Windu a much longer fight which was never even settled.
But then the other problem is you can't tell how long a fight is in comic format. I doubt any of these Saber fights in the whole 4 issues of SOD were intended to be 1-2 seconds long animated form.

Completely disagree. It may not have been an amazing display of power but the shear style of it was totally bad ass.
Nah, there's nothing "bad ass" about creeping upto a defenceless person to stab them IMO. I think the most impressive thing by Grievous was accompanying Sidious for them both to fight Maul and Talzin together. Grievous has proven this series that he is once again a proper Jedi fighting warrior to be dealt with.

I wonder how TalDookuzin would do against, say, Anakin or Kenobi?
Probably not too good. See below.

Sidious stated that TalDookuzin was lessed skilled in sabers than Dooku.
He could have just been taunting her, but he disarmed her pretty easily.

Keep in mind that (amongst other things), against Palpatine she had to use Dooku's lightsabre, a very different weapon to the fire scimitar she used against Mace, especially given the curved hilt design. Different sword designs are used differently.
Say for example, you're an expert with a Medieval arming sword. Now say you have to fight with a Chinese jian. Sure it's still a sword but it's not the type of sword you're used to. The balance, the weight etc are all different and it requires techniques you are not familiar with.

Just realised that if Maul is still alive and well during ROTS, then that proves that even half broken Machine Vader has greater potential than Maul. Otherwise Sidious likely would have sought out Maul to replace Machine Vader.
And in case you haven't noticed Maul and Sidious aren't on the best of terms right now.
Do you think Maul would agree to be Sidious' apprentice after he witnessed Sidious killing his mother and his brother, and everything else that happened?
Maul was loyal to Sidious because that's all he knew from birth, but once he knew Sidious betrayed him he sought revenge and became Sidious' rival. As a true Sith should.
Unlike Vader, Maul has enough self-respect not to submit like a whipped cur to the person he knows manipulated him, killed his loved ones and ruined his life.

Not sure that would make a Huge Difference.
Remember Kenobi borrowed Ventress's curled Saber in "Revenge" and was actually beating Maul while fighting him with that Saber. He started losing later with his own Saber Ironically.
So no, I don't believe that alone is excuse enough for Sidious to stomp her in Sabers.

Well Maul isn't exactly in tip top condition himself, if you catch my drift. He's only half-Maul.
He's supposed to be more powerful than he was in TPM.

Yeah that's a possible reason.
But you know what a manipulative ass Palpatine is. If he really wanted Maul back he'd convince him. Maul would join him as well if for no other reason then to eventually overthrow Sidious.
Maul was trying to destroy Sidious and trying to establish a new order. Why would he agree to be apprentice to Sidious after all this, killing his apprentice Savage Opress and his mother Talzin ? Maul's vision is become better than being a apprentice as we see. And Sidious said that ''you have become a rival!''
Nor Sidious would want Maul, he will never be loyal to Sidious, on the other hand Emokin / Vader is very loyal to him.

Agreed.

I guess so.
