So why aren't you using it? You aren't even old enough to remember the Cold War, bro.

I'm old enough to remember YOUR FACE.

Depends on what you mean by "equal".

Bare-handed? Drogo probably wins.

Drogo with an arakh and Jaime with a sword? No, Jaime still wins. Comfortably.

equal as in, both have the same armor or no armor and the same weapon or no weapon.

Drogo is the better athlete, which would make up for any (if it exists) gap in skill.

Based on what is Drogo a better athlete though?

I mean sure he's probably stronger, and pretty quick for his size in the same vein as Sandor, but Jaime rampages through several men at once and kills them.

He killed ten men single-handedly, each armed with the same weaponry he had by and large. Ten men out of forty.

Drogo hasn't done shit by comparison, except kill some ****ing nobody in an over the top manner which has stupid people wanking him to all hell.

Drogo doesn't even compare to Jaime, or Barristan, or Sandor, or Gregor. Or any of the top fighters in Westeros.

Also, give Drogo armour to match Jaime's and he'd lose even harder. He's never fought in armour.

It is rather telling that you have to try and nerf Jaime in an effort to make Drogo win. Jaime is a knight. He wears armour. That Drogo doesn't and doesn't know how to is no one's fault but his culture's.

We can compare Drogo with Jaime when he fought Ned. He wasn't wearing armor then.

Probably stronger?

Finally, someone who might actually have a good chance of beating Jaime in his prime. 👆

Jaime is probably the better swordsman and is quicker, but Sandor is stronger and tougher.

Sandor likely take it.

i'm not nerfing Jaime. You said Jaime wins due to his armor and having a better weapon, that told me that you think Drogo would win if Jaime didn't have those advantages.

Also, Drogo apparently never lost a fight.

Jaime is stronger than he looks. He's one of the physically strongest men in Westeros, allegedly.

Though this may only be in the books, I dunno.

Actually it was a reference to a season four episode.

Most likely to be the case. Jorah is larger in the books, as would most men be of noble birth. If your major occupation is raising armies and fighting alongside them, or at least kicking ass to make your family proud, it stands to reason you will practice and hone those muscles a lot.

Chrichton explored the concept in Timeline, that most knights were wirey but immensely strong because of constant use and exercise with weapons and armor.

Jaime is actually pretty tall, around 6'2"-6'4"ish. George RR Martin explicitly compares his stature to Renly (The context was "how tall is Brienne", the answer being about Robert's height), himself a pretty tall, big man. Jaime himself muses over his relative physical strength and his disbelief that Brienne, big as she is, can overpower him. The list of men he admits were stronger is actually pretty small.

And yeah, Jorah is described as "bear-like" constantly lol.

Almost everyone in the TV show are watered down versions of their book counterpart. Renly is supposed to be big and muscular, and look what they did to him in the series. I think the only one who got an upgrade in the series is Eddard Stark.

Drogo and Jamie would be a good fight, but Drago is pretty bold and it ended up being his demise.

Drogo's skilled at fighting not armored and undisciplined Dothraki warriors.

Take their famous siege of Qohor and fight against the disciplined Unsullied, though they outnumbered the Unsullied nearly 7 to 1, they lost 12,000 men to the Unsullied 2,400 ball-less men.
