Everyone got beat in that silly combat by other foes for the most part. Quan Chi survived while most the other baddies and even good guys died.

I don't think he's a yes man, only pointing out he hasn't staged a coup yet. He may not get the chance to in this timeline either. Also all his manipulating in the game was at the behest of Shinnok, as shown in the ending scene.

Glad Shinnok is playable, but I have a sinking feeling that's a bad thing. Maybe they should have made him boss status like Khan or Onaga.

Of course he might not be the big bad.

EDIT: I just remembered Shang Tsung was playable in the last one but his "boss version" was stronger and could transform while playable Shang couldn't. Maybe Shinnok will have a "boss version" too

And yeah, since Shinnok's playable, I don't want it to be MK4 all over again in the sense of him being the big bad.

I would be fine with him being the big bad if he was worth being the big bad. By that I mean, he would need to be stronger and tougher than normal characters like Kahn was. Or maybe have a boss mode or even a "true form" when he uses the amulet or something. Just something, you know?

Oh yeah, his monster/demon form should make a comeback, if anything.
