i think kotor has a point that superman conceivably has the brains and the ability to pose a possible threat to doc.however it's ultimately just one more purely speculative "what if". since there are more "what if's" in this topic than you can fit in the grand canyon, imo it was stalemate from the beginning.
i only choose doc since it takes far more of a stretch of the imagination to project a way to defeat him, as opposed to the probability that he is truly "the indestructible man".
This is way I am going to leave Dr. Manhattan out of my threads going forward. He has never face a foe anywhere near his power or more powerful than him so it is no way to measure his power or know what his weaknesses are.
It is much easier to do for the other characters who's weaknesses we are already aware of.
