-Gregor Clegane aka The Mountain That Rides gets his plate armor, helm and two-handed sword

He was fighting the entire time, and had his spear shattered.

secondly, Oberyn was showboating from the very start. Oberyn could have killed him less than a minute into the fight when he knocked Gregor's helmet off, but instead he wanted Gregor's confession.
