Oberyn by direct comparison to Gregor was far too quick and skilled unlike Sandor. Sandor also is nowhere near as strong as his brother as well. Oberyn will tear him apart. Condolences.
Implying Sandor (who cut through a sword and an armored guy in one swing, google it and see) isn't strong enough. Lame.
Your debating skills are lame, Quan.

He isn't as strong as Gregor. That is undeniable.
You don't comprehend so how would you know ?
Originally posted by NemeBroI didn't like it. I admitted as much but in terms of skill and abilities the fight was awesome. Oberyn demonstrated his dominance over Gregor and got reckless in his obsession to acquire his confession.
Why do you keep on saying that when we both know you were the one who was openly upset when Oberyn's skull was shattered?
As for vs. matchups he has the Darth Maul treatment. Never skillfully beaten so it puts you in a pickle to debate against him.

Watch the ep again and pay close attention to what Baelish says. Until then, you're just ignorance-debating again. The Hound has several kills under his belt. How many does Oberyn have? We go with feats, not who Quanchi thinks is sexier. /thread
What does Baelish say?
My take away from that very brief fight was that The Hound was just keeping an enraged Gregor at bay but was not trying to kill him. Wheras Gregor was completely bloodlusted (going 100%).
The Hound appears to be more skilled. Almost as much strength as The Mountain and almost as much skill as whole Jaime Lannister. That's a deadly combination which is why a drunk Hound can defeat 2-3 knights at once. 🙂
Edit - I'd say the best sword-fight in the series would be between a healthy Sandor and a whole Jaime.

You'd have to have watched GoT to know anything about Sandor's lethalness. Which so far you've shown minimal knowledge with your incorrect claims.
Sandor is strong enough to cut right through Oberyn's spear and light armor. Strong enough to snap his neck with a single hand.
Back to your lame debate tactics cos you're angry.

Sandor isn't as strong as Gregor so if Oberyn isn't toying with him it won't ever happen. Even toying with his stronger brother he still skillfully evaded Gregor's sword after that occurred.
Oberyn made Gregor look pedestrian by comparison unlike Sandor when he matched swords with Gregor.

Yes, basically that. Sandor wasn't trying to harm/kill is brother. Gregor was.

That's what I thought but I don't like to make ignorant guesses. I completely forgot what he had said.

it was the whole point of that scene. if you had seen it you would know what he said.
you should really watch it though. the first half of season 1 is painfully slow paced but it picks up later. try it out 🙂
or just continue riding my cock and repeating what i said on page one 🙂

the hound blocked his every swing, and he wasn't even trying to hack ser gregor. he then completely outclassed his brother by dodging his last swing without even having his eyes on him.

was not a stale mate. the hound was not trying to kill him. he was holding him off and making him look like a buffoon. deal with it. or get madder. whatever

A lot of people aren't as strong as Gregor. So who cares. From a physical standpoint, one need only be strong enough to parry and/or break Oberyn's spear and be able to cut through his light armor. Sandor's strength is many times able to do so, now you know.
And downplaying Sandor again in the Gregor/Sandor quick fight. Downplaying is all you have and why you always lose.

He isn't quick enough. Oberyn was strong and quick enough to take on his stronger brother so what makes you think the weaker Sandor can do so ? You already admitted he isn't as strong as Gregor.
I didn't downplay him. He didn't look anywhere near as impressive as Oberyn did against Gregor.
I never once said Gregor beats Sandor only that he doesn't do so as easily as Oberyn was able to do so.
Oberyn wins. Easily.

Nah, that wasn't the whole point of the scene. Not at all. That's actually pretty dumb to conclude that. That whole point of the scene was to demonstrate that there was no love between the brothers and that they were both monsters.

I don't bother reading your posts as of late. They are almost always full of shit and insults to other posters. I stopped reading the thread when I got to Robtard's post. 🙂
