Star Wars has the advantage in numbers and in fire power. They also have the advantage of the force. The force alone is something that leaves the Star Trek universe completely outmatched, however, with that said I don't see the force being a useful weapon here. I know that the ships in the Star Wars universe do have shields and only certain class ships can penetrate specific shields but there has never been a proper elaboration or explanation on how the shield systems work.
The Star Trek universe however have shield systems that can adapt to all types of ship fire. They also possess cloaking and teleportation. This alone, I think gives them an easy victory in an all out war.
Did you just bump to get a year-old apology? Lol.
Interesting thread, minus it seeming at times like quan talking to himself. I browsed a bit, but didn't read everything. What were the stipulations? Are EU weapons like Centerpoint Station and the Sun Crusher allowed? If so, SW rolls. A functional Centerpoint alone can basically solo both sides. But if it's cinematic only, ST has a lot more to draw from in terms of sheer volume (movies a bit, and definitely with the show added). And SW has the Death Star I guess. But movies/TV only, ST likely rolls.
{edit} saw it's movies vs. movies. If we're staying true to the letter of that rule, I'll have trouble remembering if some things from the ST show were also shown in the movies. So what did this thread boil down to, red matter vs. Death Star?
