Star Trek vs. Star Wars

I didn't twist thing. Organic beings run the droids.

So the trek sides don't fight intelligently and work together ? You're avoiding the thread parameters itself to justify Wars winning.

The borg are at their best when they're simply pointed towards an enemy and told to go **** shit up. Strategizing and playing well with others has never really been their strong suit. So sure, while they are technically only attacking Star Wars enemies, that doesn't suddenly mean they'll be having tea with Kirk and Picard.

Which the Borg really wouldn't give a shit about. Explain the post I quoted, please.

I never said any such thing. In fact, I openly admitted I had forgotten about V'ger, Genesis and The Cetacean probe, which would actually steer things back towards a Trek victory. I still don't understand why i'd be so desperate for Wars to win, though.

So movies vs. movies is lopsided ?

Pr claims it isn't fair for Star Wars and then you claim it is too lopsided for Trek. You're all crying like women over a fictional thread.

I said fair for Star Trek. Not Wars.

Pr claims Star Wars films massacres Star Trek films. Talk to him. Films vs. films are all included.

No, I didn't. At the start, I worried that the vast numerical advantage Star Wars has (which they do), would be too much for Star Trek to deal with.

I don't expect any Federation ship to still be standing when this is over. Same goes for Romulan, Reman, Klingon or anything else. They'd get murdered.

Trek can win though, if they play to their strengths. Let the Borg be the Borg against the Wards forces. Let V'Ger and the CP utterly disable them. And Genesis can wipe them all out. It would be much easier too, if they could get their 1-2 shots of Red Matter away and take out a Death Star too.

It's a team Vs match, so it's teaming.

Otherwise the Borg would be attacking everyone. The Empire and the Rebel Alliance would be going at it etc.

borg would assimilate the empire by themselves and make emperor palpatine into a drone. take a moment to think of how awesome that would look. anyway...

it's silly to name freak phenomena of the films as part of an organized armada. that's like having han solo ride that asteroid worm from ESB.

that would be so ****ing badass though.

*dune reference deliberate

I was hoping so. 😛

Adding another gigantic army onto their own in a massive galactic battle is smart tactics not wasting their time engaging them when they can increase their numbers greater than ten fold with this maneuver. This is a team effort here so in character the Borg would never ally themselves in this fashion anyways so your point has always been moot and defeats the purpose of the thread.

Just to go against me obviously. You're not alone there. So now you go from saying I had a passing knowledge and openly admitting you forget about a great many things. Irony.

You had Wars winning due to superior numbers and ships so how wouldn't it be fair when Trek wins despite your misconceptions about the thread.

Why wouldn't trek play to their strengths ? Do you doubt the intelligence behind the leaders in the trek universe ? Do you think they will moronically just be dunces and try an all out invasion on all fronts or what.

So the Borg act the way you want them to, which is completely out of character. Got it.

You overestimate your importance, as usual. Yes, I did forget certain things. I never acted like I was an expert on anything I didn't know about, though... Unlike some people.

In the beginning, I thought it wouldn't be fair. Jesus. Try to keep up.

So you want Trek to play to their strengths while hampering the Borg at the same time? Do you see how that sounds?

And no, I never implied nor said anything about the Trek leaders being idiots.

Oh the irony. I guess in threads where bad guys team up with good guys can kill they are allowed to act out of character but in a team thread the Borg and trek are giant morons just invading everything in sight. K.

I never said I was an expert either but you were condescending and I am always very well mannered.

So the Borg and the others acting in their best interests and unified is hampering bathe Borg iyo ?

Well, then why do they lose if they aren't idiotic with what they have access to.

I know I'm a little late to the trek party ala 2009 but I deserve to be let it the front door.

If you refuse to actually read my posts properly, then I really don't see why I should make the effort to type out proper answers for you. Being rude is one thing, but trolling at the same time just makes it worse.

Your lying doesn't help it either, but we both know you won't stop that.

Stop playing the victim, and then maybe we can talk.

If a thread teams up certain factions then they work together in their best interests.

I am no victim. It was a joke. I say Trek wins you disagree no reason to blow a gasket.

See, misquoting me again. If you want to stick your fingers in your ears and just pretend you heard what you wanted, then by all means, please do.

So now you think Trek wins. Which is it ? Who wins now ?

Actually read the last three or four posts I wrote on the subject, and you'll get your answer.

Because it's honestly starting to seem you like didn't read them at all in the first place.

I just wanted to hear you admit you were wrong in the beginning. You admitted you were and forgot about various factors. I don't make unfair threads.

I'm guessing you realize, but just in the rare case you don't. Quanchi hasn't seen any of the ST shows, TOS films or TNG films aside from the youtube clips people have posted here. He's really only seen Into Darkness and that at times is questionable if he paid attention to it.

You still nerfed the Star Trek-verse quite heavily. They were just lucky that they had a couple of aces that could help them win. But it's still dependant on the Borg and how they're used, to an extent, imo.

I changed my mind after reconsidering the information, yes. I'm sure that fills you with untold joy.

Oh, I gathered that... I just hate being the kind of person that doesn't give people the benefit of the doubt. Anyone can change, etc.

Even contrarian ********.

I already told him a couple of pages back and he probably knew it anyway. why don't you have a PM chat with ddm and calm him down if you feel like being a little helper. 🙂

I kept it movies vs. movies. If I included the tv series for Star Trek and the animated clone wars series along with the animated movie does that change the outcome and make it more fair iyo ?

quantroll's eyes were glued to a certain part of Khan's anatomy the entire time, so it's understandable that he missed most of what happened in the film.

More fair? I'm not sure about that.

It still removes a lot of the high feats the Trek universe has, though, so they aren't really being represented properly. It's a nerfed version of them.
