Thats where you re wrong because when they was trying to take Marsden out because of the superman role he called the dude and was like why did they do that because he wanted to be in the movie. I think that if the writers make the stories good enough everyone will keep coming back
marsden should stay away... period...
halle hasnt done many great movies at all apart from monsters ball...
gothika? no... flintstones? no... x-men 1&2? no... catwoman? hell no...
while i'll admit some of her older stuff was pretty good, she has gone downhill since monsters basll big time...
regradless... tom hanks to me is a great actor, but he could not play a superhero if his life depended on it... why? it just wouldnt suit him, same for halle imo...
i have no problem with stewart, the guy was damn near perfect... the only complaint if any i had about mckellan was his age... but he nailed the character personality wise imo...

Thanks GuitarBunny. And yeah everyone knows Halle as Storm but eventually she's going to get bored of playing Storm as will other characters like Marsden as Cyclops 'n' stuff and it's going to change anyway. I don't have anything against Halle playing Storm though, just the crappy lines and story they gave her.

Sorry ya'll
This thing is messing up on me.
Twice i have tried to make this comment...this is my last try for the day...
I have said that Halle isn't the only one... there are no actors who are dedicated to a series now a days. The time that it takes to make a movie (3+ years) is too long to have that dedication. Roger Moore, Sean Connery..these guys were committed to the Bond Series. Connery maybe a little too long.... but anyway... we have been talking about this since what? 2003... and the movie doesn't come out until like the middle of 2007??? Too much time. Actors know that you have to strike while the iron is hot. Sad but true.

i never said she was the only one... i would dump several of the cast personally... marsden, ashmore, berry, that pyro kid... maybe paquin...
no excuse though...

OK, that being said...do you follow what i said about moving other characters up in prominence so that the series would have a chance to continue? I had said that with a new crop of characters to follow that we could have the originals "pass the torch" and the characters wouldn't get old or bored. Make sense?

i understand what you mean... but x-men still needs its 'core' i.e. the prof, cyclops, jean, logan... after that you get some characters who wont appeal to the comic fans themselves...

Thats the only thing that would keep this Franchise alive is pass the torch.
