simple... i love x-men, always have, ever since i started reading comics i've been reading x-men... i've grown up reading them, and i want to see them get the movie they deserve...
so far imo they havent done it...
Obviously you haven't been paying attention to what i have said here and in other threads.... They can't and they wont ever do a movie justice when it is your favorite. Once again...they have ruined some of my favs: Daredevil.... The Hulk... and soon Ironman. Trust me when i tell you...enjoy what you get.. it wont get much better.

i am not that blinded by the comics that i cant see the forest through the trees...
if they got the fundamental parts of the main characters right i would be happy... but they havent...

Thats just it... you can be a fan and work in Hollywood, but there are too many knuckle headed producers and execs who think they know it all. They don't allow for the directors and actors to stay true to the comics... Yeah, i'm sick of the powers that be, if it wasn't obvious

i know the situation in hollywood, but that wont stop me from hoping against hope that we'll get a decent xmen movie...

Yes I would watch a new mutant movie if they did the pass the torch and by that i don't mean okay everybody will be passing the torch, but shake up the characters around a bit. Like we can get rid of Storm, Rogue, and Wolverine. Bring in new characters like Emma Frost, Gambit, and Kitty Pryde. I'm not saying start a whole new mutant movie from scratch, but kill of characters or have them leave. I'll think it through and see what i come up with and stuff.
If that was directed to me... i switched over to KMC after about a year of talking on the Stargate SG1 message boards. It was pretty interesting to be able to talk for ...well years about what people thought might happen in an upcoming movie versus a upcoming weekly episode. Problem with sitting out for a while is that you may have to read through 20 pages of posts to catch up... got your reading done...haha book
I know there is no need for a second post, but I can't be bothered to edit my last one so...I was thinking of what actors I would choose to play Beast, Gambit, and Angel.
Angel: I would have either Mark Paul Gossaler or Ryan Phillipe play the role. Mark Paul Gossaler because I think he is able to pull off the Warren Worthington attitude. Ryan Phillipe because of his role in Cruel Intentions and he can pull of any stubborn rich guy role.
Gambit: This is one role that I can't seem to fit an actor to, but I think that Josh Holloway or Ian Somerhalder would bring the ragin' Cajun to life in the movie.
Beast: Well since Beast is most likely going appear in the film as the blue furry one then I think that Steve Bacic should have continued the role, but they are opting out and the only other person I can see is John Rhys Davies, but still doesn't really fit to me, or Oliver Patt, but I hate him.
These are my choice for the three new additions.

no offense Mysterio, but john rhys davies and oliver platt??? Are you trying to kill the character off right away?? If you cross those two you have a Shakespearian actor who wise cracks just to hear the sound of his own voice...haha Keep thinking man... theres gotta be someone better out there

Lol I know what you mean...it's just hard to fit someone into that role after they had someone. I'll keep looking and update you Poncho.
