Why werent Bobby, Warren or Hank part of the main team before Storm and Wolvie. Why are Storm and Wolverine and Nightcrawler part of the grown up team but not Kitty or Piotr?

The great thing about these films, and the X-Men in general, is that you don't have to go through all of this exposition of how the characters get superpowers. I do hope they give the series and story an ending at some point with all of the same actors. Anymore these days I can't stand watching comic movies.Mainly because after watching films like LOTR, and Star Wars, it is really how comic book films should be made. So you could watch a series of them as one big story. Not like batman where you start off in the first film, and then you get to third one and you realize this really isn't going anywhere, and all of it is is a bunch individual stories.
You mean trilogies. One big movie broken in 3 in the case of these 2 movies. For a second there I thought you meant that SW and LOTR were comic books before they became movies LOL
Technically the X-men have been connected. You can see Jean acting funny at the end of the 1st movie which connects to the 2n movie. Plus we get to follow up on Senator Kelly and the whole Human vs Mutant thing 🙂 And Wolvie story of course.
