Captain America: Civil War

Its sad that it has gotten to that these days a movie making 1.4 Billion and its being considered a failure..... 😬

I wouldn't classify it as a failure either. It certainly made bank.

However it didn't live up to the hype for me. Not a bad flick, though

Exactly. It didn't fail commercially, but it failed expectations. Made less on a bigger budget than Avengers and it failed to create the hype that Avengers did. Which in turn could translate to lower box office numbers for future MCU projects.

After seeing Avengers I was hyped imagining what the sequel could bring. AOU didn't do that for me and it certainly doesn't have the re-watch value of Avengers. I recently watched AOU for the second time at home, I was bored through large portions of it.

AOU a failure?

It certainly was underwhelming.

Ummm, in what warped reality is AoU a failure? It's a perfectly decent movie that made truckloads...

I can't wait for this movie. I am sure it would be the best as always.

I never said it was a failure, I said it was underwhelming. Pretty much agreed with Robtard on this.

Underwhelming doesn't mean its a failure in the way you wrote it.

There was some rad stuff. More Hawkeye I'm all for. But a lot of lame stuff. (Hawkeye's hidden family, QS and SW being blah as hell, the romance)

If Avengers 2 is considered a failure. I sure hope that every other movie they make fail this well. Avengers 2 is the best Marvel movie yet.

That's why I wrote a question mark near it. Ask the studio why it thinks it wasn't a massive success.

I'd put GOTG, Winter Soldier, Iron Man, Hulk, and the first Avengers over AOU.

YouTube video

Meh...bootlegged.

Hulkbusters in this? Or Veronica I suppose I should call it

Iron Man's team seems overpowered relative to Cap's team.

Spiderman injured while filming Civil War.

Surprised no one has posted it in here until now, Baron Zemo won't be wearing the iconic mask
