Question. In the film (trailer) Panther is, seemingly, outpacing Cap. Do you think MCU have the balls to assert the Heart Shaped Herb as he reason he is able to keep up with the super soldiers? Or are Marvel going to make us swallow 'training alone' has made a man able to out perform the ss serum?
Im a continuity whore, im fine with BP being able to hang, but the context for his abilities has to be given or it makes Caps serum obsolete and kinda diminishes his physical prowess simply to bolster Tchallas for a cheap "wow, hes keeping up with cap" moment. Thoughts?
^ Considering Cap already has 4 movies showcasing legit superhuman feats, it'd be unlikely for Marvel to just chalk up BP's physical prowess exclusively to training. Especially since they already explained in WS that Bucky was also enhanced in addition to the bionic arm that he has. Or Marvel could do the even more unlikely thing and connect his abilities to the Panther God.

This in itself tells you how ridiculously far above regular humans (or even peak RL humans) Cap and those other guys are (considering both Panther and Bucky appeared to have similar foot speed).
Consider the fact that the fastest actual RL recorded foot speed (by Usain Bolt, the fastest human on the planet), was about 27.8 mph IIRC, over the distance of a 100m (and he wasn't even moving at that speed the entire 100m, or the 9.58 seconds it took to run the race). Cap was doing less than 2 mph slower, over the course of 30 minutes, and he wasn't even out of breath afterwards.

Sebastian Stan also confirmed it again more recently, in a Civil War related interview, when he described his own powers as the metal arm and having the "serum-thing" going.
