Yeah, and it made it so great because Tony
Spoiler:. But yeah, the dynamic between Bucky and Sam was great. And I think they laid a very interesting groundwork for the relationship between Iron Man and Spiderman, which makes me even more keen for Homecoming, considering the comments about it being expanded on in that film.
told him he'd do exactly that the next time he called
But seriously, for a Cap film,
Spoiler:, I felt like Tony got a lot of love in this film, character-wise. I felt like in some of the more recent films, he became little more than the guy who delivers one-liners, but Civil War actually gave him some depth again. And with more to work with, RDJ delivered a great performance.
despite the end result
Well,
Spoiler:
it wasn't just cars landing on top of him. Scarlet Witch dumped them on him. And considering what she does to Vision, she packs a serious punch. I can actually understand why they refer to her as the "Hulk-like powerhouse" in some interviews now. She might not hit hard physically, but she hits monstrously hard with her TK powers.

Honestly it felt more like a Marvel event film with a little more focus on Cap over IM, than it did a Captain Anerica solo film to me. But that's how I wanted it to be.
I mean think about it, an Avengers movie without Hulk and Thor is going to be mainly about Cap and IM.
