But I’m guessing after Infinity War the Avengers trilogy will be above both of those.

This movie is cool but I think it is a little over rated. Still it belongs among the higher tier marvel movies. Glad to see Thor finish his trilogy with a bang.

For Thor, Cap and Iron Man, each of their sequel movies has progressively made more money. The Third movie for each has been MASSIVE. Both Cap and Tony hit 1 Billion for their third film, but I don't think Thor is reaching that height. Right now he's at 738 Million so far which easily trumps the 644 from TDW. That being said, Cap's Trilogy is EASILY the best of the 3, as much as I like Ragnarok.

Iron Man 1, Dr. Strange, and GotG Vol. 2 all get honorable mentions.

^Honestly Thor: Ragnarok could be my number one even right now because it's so fresh, and it's been awhile since WS or GotG. But that's my solid top 3 for MCU.

Agreed with CPT Space Bomb: Logan is my favorite comic book film of the year, but Ragnarok is the most fun I've had at the movies by far in 2017.

I enjoyed it. It seemed like there was a lot more comic relief in this one than in previous Thor/Avenger movies.

Went and rewatched this and told my friends to go see it. I ****ing had a blast at this, can't wait for it to come out on Bluray

Saw it a second time and I think it was better the second time around, maybe I had my expectations too high the first time but yeah second viewing was better even though I could only see it in 3D

Yeah, it's a weird pattern I am noticing. 90% of the people I have spoken to about it enjoyed the film more on second viewing (as did I). I guess once you already know the main story, it gives you more time to appreciate all the other little things they threw in. On first viewing, I felt it was on par with GotG vol. 2, but now I think it's better.

I've seen this for the third time now, really enjoyable film. Wish it had a bit less comedy but still a great film. The MCU is killing it and with Black Panther and Infinity War coming up.....it doesn't look like it's going to slow down any time soon.
