Thor: Ragnarok

Great movie.

My favourite Thor movie so far, and one of the best Marvel movies too. Up there with Ant Man, GoTG2 and Avengers. Not quite GoTG, CA:CW level.

I can literally rewatch this anytime, so yeah makes my top 5 MCU films.

I'm rewatching it right now cuz it just came onto netflix. Great film.

Makes me wonder though if people think what is revealed about Odin in the movie kinda makes him evil?

He is much worse in comics, so it was no surprise.

Ragnarok is the worst MCU film.

It isn't dog shit but it's just not that good, in my opinion.

Yeah. Rags is kind of a Big Jumping all over the Map Mess, but it is a funny roller coaster of a mess.

Def more fun. Especially Hela.

Ragnarok felt like a breath of fresh air for marvel movies. The humor was spot on. Enough to make me not ask questions like:

-Why did we need to see Hulks ass?
-Why is Jeff Goldblum wearing lipstick?

Ragnarok is great, probably my favorite Marvel film.

It's an okay film

Felt they went overboard on the humor, Especially with moments where some of Thor's friends back on Asgard die and they follow it up with some humor.... 😬

I liked the humor. Especially Korgs comments at the end when they are watching the planet get destroyed.

Also the part where Thor tells how as children he loved snakes and Loki knew this so he turned into one and when Thor grabbed it he turned back into his normal form and stabbed him is just hilarious.

Ragnarok wasn't the best MCU film or anything, BUT the great thing that it did was establish the necessary parts of Thor's story arc for Infinity War to punch it home.

It just felt overly comedic to me, like the film was trying extra hard for laughs and chuckles instead of a serious story.

I also still stand with my opinion that it tried to copy the formula of GotG.
