I'm still dealing with the issue of a tanker full of breast milk.

I think I have mommy issues I never knew I had until Fury Road.

Dam you Post Apocalypse!

Perhaps you cod give us a bit more because I do t see how any of the originals were any better

I didnt really care for the originals either, but at least there was some slight character development and you actually understood and felt for Gibson. Other then that, all of them sucked in my opinion.

I'm not a huge fan of the originals (2nd one was good overall), but Fury Road was genius film making. It's doesn't let you breath.

It was lame.

Future of Furiosa.

So glad we're getting more Mad Max.

Glad Miller's moving beyond Furiosa, we saw her story. Want to see another new chapter in Max's life in the wastelands.

Good news, indeed.

I don't mind shifting focus back to Max.

I know it's a post-apocalyptic story where minimal dialogue is all that is needed to keep the storyline going & not interfere with the action...I just hope that Hardy has more of a screen presence the 2nd time round.

What few lines Gibson had made him a memorable character & he stood out from the rest of the crowd.

this movie relied on what little character development that was done in the originals. This is just like a superhero to me...,You're not going to go see ( a numerous origin story batman) movie unless you know the backstory. Personally, i appreciated the fact that they didn't waste half of a movie explaining maxs character or even charlieze therons character because their characters really didn;t need any back story, they were more than self explanatory.

The goal of this movie wasn't to develop characters, but rather, introduce an environment and tell an action story in that environment.

Well put.

Yeah, the previous films explain the character's backstory. That's why they're there. So the backstory is there. But George Miller explained that the Max character is sort of mythical, anyway, so there are many stories to tell about him. And sort of like you said, the character is really just an excuse now to introduce an environment and have some great action-stories.

I'm not into that girl power shit, but simply due to the fact that Fury Road was an old school action movie with very minimal CGI, was so refreshing compared all of today's Michael Bay-esque green screen filled ass fests. Plus, I thought Hardy's Max was so good, he reminded me of a rabid coyote stuck in a trap, Immorten Joe and his War Boyz were interesting too, to say the least.

Let people enjoy superior film making and go somewhere "defend" Khan 131

Looks like it's going to get remembered for the Oscars. It just topped the list of Best Films Of The Year by The National Board Of Review. Other critics awards will get announced soon.

Silence.

****ing awesome movie.

Yeah, I think it's fu#king rad that a movie like this got picked for best movie of the year. It fu#king deserves it, too.

Overrated movie for me

didn't feel it was "THAT" awesome.

It was pretty anarchistic and a great job by old Miller, who puts younger directors like Zack Snyder to shame.

The only downside I felt was the character of Max. Other than that: top movie by a seasoned veteran.
