It's a common mistake going solely by comics' release dates, it doesn't always work like that.

It'll be current Thor because he is fighting the current version of Hulk AFTER Immortal Hulk.

But how can it be current Thor, if Odin appears to be still alive?

He's on one of the covers, unless it's just meant to be misleading af.

It can't be current. Mjolnir, for a start, is still whole. As you say, Odin is on the cover. Echo/Phoenix was part of the Avengers, and Jen is still bulked out as She-Hulk, so it's recent, though. Plus KiB storyline is mentioned etc.

I reckon something like BFR will be used, and Marvel will avoid a conclusive win either way. But Hulk will look better in h2h.
