That's what monogamy is. Man-made establishment of some idealized notion of a sacred union. In other words, it's rich men laying down the law when claiming ownership over another human.
Well, that's how it started at least. Then they realized they'd better add the break-up/divorce part as an announced disestablishment. It's all really silly if you think about it. We're fighting over lovers like we fight over money and resources.
Good luck getting this girl to leave her man, though. What's her name?
😆
Which? All the good ones are taken. We'll call them Jessie's Girl.
Yup. There are no potential negative consequences from polygamy. And no benefits to monogamy. None. /sarcasm😂
I just don't need to establish that a certain person is my lover and set ground rules. Whatever happens happens, and you're not always going to like it.
My same principal philosophy of how a technocracy should be run. The technology is doing its thing so we can pursue our naturally developed goals, whatever they may be, without ever having to do anything in the first place. What if someone's goal is to make others his slave? He'll develop a plan, and naturally it will be thwarted by others. There'll be no Rules and Regulations, those are for the computers and fully automatized infrastructures that allow us to function on an actualized level by giving us the ability to naturally develop desires that shape our intellectual endeavors, for oneself - not for some government or corporation.

Talking/debating with him is like trying to catch a greased pig. That it does. 👆
This would be hard to get a definite answer for, even if we had proper data. The definition of "better" parenting is itself so subjective as to blow any attempted analysis out of the water.
I agree it's an interesting idea, at least. But purely speculative, at best.
Or if one requires me to ask the question:
Would polygamous parenting result in smarter, healthier and more altruistic offspring than monogamous parenting?

You.
I mope about anything. Don't think you're special or my only "interest".
Then again, maybe you cry about anything, IDK.
I mean, you're still paying attention to me here and trying to communicate in some enigmatic fashion.
I don't see a reason to be jealous, you're crazy about me. You're crazy altogether, actually.

Raising as a group can work, but can also cause more drama as more people try to take control

Which is always good.

This is what terrorists do and it works to form a coalition, or just a very strong family house-old in this case. Or maybe a duplex/mansion, depending on their wealth, lol.

Because you're talking about being an enigma and chemicals in the brain...it's like the conversation I had with myself in middle school to convince myself that I never wanted to date girls because they were icky.
No but seriously, don't always let experience change you.

This is a worthless maxim, again spoken like someone with very little concept of the actual dating pool or what it's like to be in a committed relationship.
I'll ask again: what's your experience with dating? This isn't accusatory. I don't care what the answer is. But I'm stunned that you can't answer it straight.

Yes, I was a veritable existential mess at age 11, let me tell you.

I'm talking about taking another's girl. Why is it a sin to want that girl?
You don't own her soul because you've established intimate relations as some man-made sanctity.
You don't follow man-made laws and rules? How you function in a society?
If the girl is someone's wife. Off-limits.
