I do agree with what you're saying, here. He is too harsh on the black community and he's crossed the line a few times into racist territory. He does mean well and I think he's expressing his frustration.Do you agree that the black community is doing themselves a disservice by going crazy, looting, etc. when things like this happen?
Edit - To help me put it into perspective, if an Italian American was shot in what looked like an anti-Italian situation, I'd be upset. But if the Italian community started to do what happened in Ferguson, I'd be furious at the Italian community. I know several members of the black community (personally) that were furious of the reactions from the Michael Brown incident.
Oh yeah I am mad about the whole thing, i live in the area so I end up smack In the middle of a lot of arguments about it. I had to have my nieces and nephews stay with me because they lived right where buildings were burning. Shit is dumb.
But there is a tendency where instead of referring to the rioters as rioters of even people in Ferguson people like to just say "Blacks" or "Black people" and stuff. And that is where the conversation changes. Like I'll be at work and people will be talking about it but then it turns into how "the blacks" are such and such and they start glaring at me. I have nothing to do with it. I've been at work everyday just working, even when people came into the store to protest I was simply working not joining them. But I'm still given dirty stares and people always look at me when talking about it. Because the conversations changes from about rioters or even protesters to being about "blacks" and I don't like treated an ethnic group like they all are the exact same with the same ideals and motivations and life style. Even if certain communities have more of certain problems I don't like taking the individual out of the equation. Because the Individual is more important to me and leads to less hate all around imo when looked at that way. When they are seen as a bunch people rioting and stuff and not just as "Blacks". If ranted and railed against the notion of blackness before but normally it's against the black ideal. It's really annoying to see it often forced on me by others too even people who see me everyday suddenly view me as a black guy instead of just Jalek.

That's pretty shitty that they are grouping all blacks, including you, in with the riots. Sounds like 1960s America....

When white cops are killed by black people do they riot for weeks and act a fool?

No it doesn't. 😐
No where have I heard something like what he described.
I'm in Oklahoma, possibly one of the most racist states in the US.
For me, it seems unreal that people like that exist in the US in 2014.

Are the black criminals not indicted? That's messed up...
Or did you perhaps draw a false comparison.

Perhaps your experience is not representative of the experiences of many black people after all.
The generalizations are very rampant. I myself am asked silly questions as if I'm an avatar of the entire black community. Like we're the Borg and I'm muthaf*ckin' "Blackutus". When I express my individual views and my individual experiences it always seems to be drowned out by the preconceived notions and generalizations the person(s) I'm speaking to have. They can't reconcile the fact that the black person they are interacting with is empirical evidence that the notions they think or are expressing apply to the entire black community are false. We become an exception to the stereotypical rule. I stopped being representative of black people once I started living a lifestyle that didn't fit their box thinking. And sadly that's the opinion of some people within the black community as well.

You became a metaphore of homosexual people.

What I am saying is when blacks kill white cops, or blacks kill whites, do whites destroy cities, riot and loot for weeks and months?
