I do understand however if sometimes people may get upset with certain posters, specially if they are being rude.

Kmc became less about debate and more about lying. They lie about feats and scans while dismissing any argument otherwise. People tie a characters strength with their pride so any argument is a personal insult and don't treat it like a debate instead ridiculing the person regardless of their argument.

I think at the point where people consistently go against a character in threads that them liking them is superseded by forum hate
For example I don't mind Hulk in comics but I hate forum Hulk. As a result me saying I like him is always tainted by my dislike of forum Hulk. All that's left is trying not to succumb to biases. The person you're arguing against doesn't help that either. For example Carver will bring out the worst in anyone. But if you're always going around at a Carver hate level then there's not much merit in "liking" a character even if you truly do.
If that makes sense. Maybe you do enjoy Thanos Rao, but it's hard to tell. It'd be like Rage saying he likes Thanos imo.
A good example of what I'm saying is whenever Carver says he likes a character. It's just... like the guy says he likes Superman. Nuff said.
I also like Juggernaut but the merit of that couldn't be proven on this forum to say the least.

Of the top of my head there are only two characters that I can say that I like from DC and that's Wonder Woman and M Manhunter. Even thinking about it the only other characters that comes to mind is Mr Terrific and Green Arrow
