That's a good point but I have a feeling that the OP was assuming he didn't have it. Not sure if it's standard equipment and even if it is CIS means he probably won't use it in a fight.

I think that is where he was effected by the virus. He was effected by a virus for days and still fought pretty good.
Val has many more speed feats than Batman. He's dodged Barry Allen's son (Who is a Flash type speedster, Mon-El, Ultraboy, etc...)
He also heard Emerald Empresss's heartbeat miles away and anticipated her attack.
Not to mention facing the Fatal FIVE alone. And doing a decent job, IIRC.

There's also that Karate Kid has demonstrated "powers", such as chopping into diamond or counteracting an earthquake with a stomp. If all he's ever done is spar with Superboy and otherwise perform like a street leveler, then you could argue pis.
Buy he was established from the start as being able to fight Superboy with his "Super karate". He's even kept him immobile in a hold on more then one occasion.

No my argument was simply he's not perfect at dodging herald level characters. None of that proves he's going to outclass Gamora, Midngihter and Gorgon.
I gotta say that Mon El feat is really impressive though. That guy is good.

When has Midnighter, Gamora or Gorgon wrestled down 100 CL characters (Pre-Crisis level chracters)? On a regular bases?

Neither has Val (pre-crisis ended in the 80s I think), what you mean to say has when have the others ever beaten high herald characters. Also remember Val seemed to be bloodlusted that can make them fight sloppy.

He spars with Mon-El and pinned down an enraged PC Superboy. Much more impressive than anything Gamora has done. Even if it was for a time.

and Gamora has spared with Thanos and gone up against Ronan...I don't think Mon-El can beat Thanos and I don't think PC feats count.

Thanos was hardly trying. The speedster val tagged was a lot faster than him. When I say val stomps, I mean pre crisis val. Zero hour would too. 3 boot wouldn't though.
