Because if we don't know how much effort both put into their grips and if it is their limit or if they are stronger than this, we can only judge this objectively by comparing their strength feats, which are almost nonexistent at this point.

Uuuummmmm, Superman said he didn't throw a killing blow. That does not mean he would have killed Mongul. This means he pulled his punch. We have no idea on if he would have survived or died. What we do know is both Superman and Batman (the same Batman that killed Supes with a punch) fought him together and was losing at one point.

Lol...so I am suppose to ignore the fact that Darkseid overpowered Superman because YOU think he received some type of power up because he was a Rookie? Does that apply to everyone as well? Can Diana take Darkseid and overpower him? She was a rookie back then as well, correct? What about GL? He tried to wrap Darkseid in constructs and it was busted through with ease. Does that mean that Darkseid would have trouble ripping them apart now or that he would probably fail? Please let us know because some people hyped Darkseid because of his showing against the JLA. If he is a weakling, then that would put him back where he was before.

*sigh*... I hate it when people keep bringing up that Sacrifice fight as supposed "proof" that WW can kill Superman. For the 800th time, Superman was hallucinating in that fight so he was at a huge disadvantage. Doomsday doesn't throw razor sharp magical tiaras so why in the Hell would Superman bother to dodge it? Yeah, WW could've killed him if she was actually aiming to kill but if Superman was in his right mind he would've been able to easily dodge it. Nobody is "sweeping that fight under the rug",LOL. The only thing that fight proves (besides the fact that WW can kill Superman only while he's hallucinating) is that Superman is waaaaay above Diana. If you would actually look at the entire fight more closely you would clearly see that.

If anybody is "sweeping anything under the rug" it's the WW supporters like you who keep ignoring the fact that Superman was at a HUGE disadvantage in that fight and yet, despite that fact, he still came off looking much superior to her.

I think the biggest/longest respect thread used to be Superman's himself before it got remade.

In the respect thread they have a scan of Hulk withstand an Onslaught from Apollo and Apollo IS the sun. He beams from the sky, unloads on Hulk, Hulk states "keep this going and you're going to burn everything" and proceeds at climbing the mountain while getting the beam of the sun rained on him.

Also, the temperature in Hulk's body, the only thing that can survive is adamantium. Do you honestly think heat vision is going to stop someone that is powered by gamma radiation? The same stuff in the sun? Get out of here.

Well, Superman did destroy all those Doomsday clones with his heat vision in one blast. I know that clones aren't as powerful as the originals but still it's quite a feat for Superman's heat vision. Oh, btw, Superman doesn't have to win with heat vision. He can just BFR him but I guess you'll argue he can't do that, huh? 🙄

Sorry, but Hulk is way too one dimensional to be able to beat a very versatile character like Superman.
