Agreed, though I still think Yoda takes him all out. Since it is a similar situation as the Sids-Yoda fight, I assume Vitiate isn't prepped for Yoda's arrival. I didn't play TOR for very long so I might be underrating Vitiate without prep.

Vitiate's combat capability is a bit tricky when facing someone as powerful as Yoda.
