Even if that were true it probably wouldn't matter much considering ISIS doesn't have anywhere near the firepower to match them. I think you're seriously overestimating ISIS, dude. Italy is a leading country in terms of peacekeeping operations, as well as being part of Operation Enduring Freedom, so probably.

They also have what ISIS doesn't; professional military training. The only reason ISIS can be considered a threat is because of their guerilla tactics and their integration within the region of Iraq.

If they were to ever engage a professional standing army in pitched warfare, them and their shitty equipment would be annihilated.

There is the opinion and then there is the military. Nobody wants ISIS to seem like an stoppable force to the public opinion, because that's partly how they manage to recruit more stray youngs into commiting terrorist acts. This doesn't mean you don't use your logistic and firepower to undo them, you have to fight the propaganda front as well as the physical war.

Singing their praises even in a sh_tty public forum like this is counterproductive, they actually recruit the stray youngs from the internet.
