I mean I guess the really sad thing is that all the actions of the US military in Iraq in the last 10+ years were all for naught, if not a net negative.Perhaps inaction is the better way.
Invading Iraq and removing Saddam was a mistake no doubt. Especially since the reason for doing it was based on a lie we were told. Doubtful ISIS would've risen up with Saddam still ruling the country. But that doesn't mean we should compound the error by just looking the other way when a multitude of innocent people are being beheaded, burned alive, and even buried alive.

Could you extrapolate on this? My curiosity is piqued.
Oh yes, I would love to extrapolate for you, sir: China routinely bribes African officials for oil and mineral rights in say the DR Congo in exchange for China building roads/infrastructure and this is sold to the local Congolese people as "you'll have jobs, earn fair wages and your country will grow into the 21st century (they're still in the 19th in some parts)"
But in reality, China doesn't typically hire from the local laborer market (ie Africans) and give back to the local communities, instead they ship in thousands of Chinese workers (which they pay poorly) and set up mini "Chinatowns" to do the road/infrastructure building and the vast majority of roads, rest-stations, fuel depots etc lead to nowhere. Adding some background: In the DR Congo, getting from say Kinshasa to another major city like Lumbumbashi can be next to impossible unless you have a plane, heavy duty vehicle or want to walk for 2-4 weeks
In short: Corrupt African officials get rich, China gains extremely valuable oil/mineral rights while giving virtually nothing back, Africa gets raped and the local Africans get a lubeless fist up the ass
edit: China isn't the only one either, Russia, India and S. Korea have similar hands in as well, China is just the most aggressive rapist
Here's an example in Angola, which happens to be China's largest African supplier of crude oil: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kilamba

You both have poopy diapers, Omega needs to come change them.

Thank you 👆
I asked because I haven't read about "anyone" besides China and India 🙂
Lots of countries have their grubby little hands in Africa, one of the (if not the main) reasons why the powers that be like to keep Africa a divided war-torn shithole. Africa's one of the richest in resource places on the planet, oil, metals, timber, precious gems and minerals abound; a united Africa would be far harder to plunder, let a lone a potential global powerhouse
