How did America double the death toll of the entire war?

Was every American worth over 260 other people?

You apparently know nothing.

The number you just got from wikipedia was the total population of America at the time.

420,000 Americans died in WWII.

Do you really believe nearly half the current American population died in WWII? That's more than the amount of people in general who died in WWII.

Never discuss the topic of history again.

Out of the 60-80 million people who died in the war, 131 million of them were Americans.

That's true sacrifice.

This thread is a monument to all our sins.

I blame the conservative republicans.

Blame the elite bankers who caused it.

So I was mistaken about the actual number of American deaths cause I didn't bother to google it. Big friggin' deal. Point is it was a hell of a lot. Hundreds of thousands isn't exactly chicken feed either you know.

I'm willing to bet there's more chicken feed pellets in 160 pounds (the average man) than there were Americans that died in the war.

Hundreds of thousands of people filled with chicken feed would feed a lot of chickens and conversely feed a lot of Americans worth of chickens I think is my main point here...

I apologize, I read the column wrong...

I find all the others who jumped on my error without participating in the conversation as excessive, but I'm guessing they have lives which lead nowhere.

Hey man no problem. At least you admitted your error instead of getting all defensive about it like Star.

Fire is a concept anathema to me, as young Tzeentch has said

But I'm afraid you'll never defeat the hate that my socialist healthcare fuels me with.
