War on ISIS

I fail to see how WW2 is relevant to ISIS.
We haven't even declared war against the califake. Technically, there is no war on ISIS. Heck, I don't think we even laid out a plan yet.

Obama said he had a plan to "Degrade and destroy ISIS", I guess he was lying.

I guess that turned out well?

Besides the raid on Abu Sayyaf (which isn't even significant in the grand scheme of things, since he was just a minor figurehead), everything he's done had backfired so far.

Eh, soldiers are people, some do good, some do bad. And the US military intervention has been viewed as mostly negative in the last couple decades.

But happy memorial day to you two.

From what I've been told by many current and ex soldiers, when not deployed soldiers basically get paid to work out.

They clean their quarters, which is like 70% of all work they do while in service.

Anyways, Iraq has vowed to take back Ramadi from the ISIS barbarians.

I predict them running away yet again once they see a swath of suicide tanks coming their way.

Sitting around is an obvious over exaggeration, there are plenty of soldiers that earn their pay while not deployed, for all intents and purposes, just "sitting around" which means, as Omega Vision said, they mostly just train and exercise. Not all of them, mind you.

Also you need to calm down with that aggressive behavior, insults like that are a reportable offense 👆

The Iraqi military couldn't muster the strength to invade its neighbors, let alone the ramshackle force ISIS has, let alone take on 1st world militaries.
