Ooh, good news-
USA Today article- Isis defections are up
WASHINGTON — Defections of Islamic State fighters — a closely watched measure by officials of U.S.-led coalition — have begun to thin the ranks of the militants in Iraq in the last month, intelligence reports and drone footage show.Wholesale defections, sparsely manned checkpoints and elite foreign fighters pressed into mundane duty indicate that the U.S.-led bombing campaign and advances by Kurdish forces are eroding the forces of the Islamic State, also known as ISIL, said Army Col. Steve Warren, the top spokesman for the counter-ISIL coalition in Baghdad.
No hard numbers, but if they're using their more elite forces for more minor duties, that's a good sign.
More troops heading to Iraq and Syria

Finally a Coalition over a year later from the day this thread was made from Obama's decision..
Pretty sure we were enemies of Germany as well. And Britain and Germany have been friends a long time, but your post is disingenuous because I posted nothing about Obama getting them to work together nor does anything say he is getting them to work together, the article talks about them passing bills to start bombing them.
For the people who're still stubbornly saying that by calling them "Radical Islamists" that we are "helping" them (LOL), you do understand that when we call them ISIS or ISIL that the "I" in either word stands for "Islamic", correct? Likewise, when the President calls them the "Islamic State" they could still be considered "helping them" according to your logic.
Liberals and logic, two things that certainly don't mix well. 👆
IMO, we are at MUCH more of a disadvantage when we refuse to correctly identify exactly what or who it is we're fighting. If you don't know your enemy, then how can you expect to beat him or her or them?
