How is it a lesser showing, because the surrounding wasn't completely wrecked lol? The Molecule man hit Beyonder with a baldy powerful enough to destroy millions of dimensions yet it never even destroyed the room they was in.
It's just the fact Thanos was shown to be that durable that time.

I believe Brevoort stated that Boltagon WAS weakened.
When you leave the context up to statements and not the depiction Brevoort's comment is just as valid.

You have a character in Thanos where nearly every low showing is capriciously retconned by his creator, Starlin. With Black Bolt I am citing the breadth of his history and saying that the INFINITY depiction doesn't make sense.
If it were Thanos suffering some damage/defeat that didn't coincide with his canon you would be the first to point it out. Even more you would dismiss it casually as PIS.
