Yah, it makes perfect sense from a movie perspective...I'm just saying as far as character showings go Thanos got the short end of the stick in Infinity War. It's like Thor...ever since Thor 1 he's been depowered like crazy and only recently have they let him shine again.....but it kinda comes at the expense of Thanos....Oh well. I still think the film is a 9/10 but most of the reason it loses a point revolves around the Titan himself (his plan, his powers).

Yeah I hear you. Do you think that

Spoiler:
it would have been better had they stuck with his motivation from the comics - Doing it to impress lady death? I personally can see why they changed it, the premise of that is kind of silly on the face of it and probably would have been difficult to get people to buy into. The motivation they went with for the movie feels a little more grounded but doesn't make a whole lot of sense once you start to think about it. They did as good a job as possible and fleshing it out, imo, but I think an inherent weakness is that the idea is a bit silly regardless of that.

Well, well it’s been a while and I’m certain many posters have been eagerly awaiting my return and review of my “baby.” Let’s get to it without any spoilers obviously because I’m civilized and not some kind of internet savage.

Some might say this is the best comic book film ever put on the big screen. For me that isn’t going far enough.

This is the best film of all time.

Thanos delivers as the grandest villain of all time. The depth this character reaches in a film with huge personalities as the “alpha.” He stands alone. He imposes his will on everyone and everything that comes into his path.

Thanos makes Darth Vader look impotent by comparison. This film utterly destroys the Empire Strikes Back. The MCU is the premier film franchise. It’s dethroned Star Wars so for Disney it’s a win/win. For many younger fans this will be the film and the franchise they grew up with unlike the previous Star Wars many older posters have nostalgia for.

The ending was pure joy for me.

Spoiler:
Here are my **** yours I have coming

1. Robtard-**** you and your silly Ronan strolling from years back. Your dc favoring darskeid is cooler ass. This film delivered and showed an entire generation what I knew as a child that Thanos is the ultimate bad guy. No one comes close to his greatness.

2. Pr-**** you and your doubting and false marvel faking ass. You doubted the franchise and have always been a Superman apologist.

3. Darth Thor-**** you and your Batman v. Superman would be the film of a few years ago as a marvel poser. This film confirmed everything I’ve ever stated. Take that to the bank.

4. Abhi-You disgust me as a person and I’d kill you with my bare hands. I hate your guts. Superman sucks.

5. Insane Titan-the most emotional fake Thanos fan I’ve ever seen. You do at grasp the character you’ve favored dc guys over him. You claimed Black Panther wasn’t superhuman without the suit.

Doing the LD angle would have come off poorly on film, imo.

Spoiler:
Would have made made him into a more generic death-loving-I-just-want-to-kill villain and who wants that. His reason in the film while whacky, worked better, he truly thought he was doing the universe a mercy, for the greater good so to speak. As I said, making him a sympathetic-like character plays better here. Was a wise choice, if it was an either/or thing.

Yeah, I agree.

I think that's what a lot of people don't get, or don't really think about:

Spoiler:
A character can be sympathetic and still be wrong at the same time. He's obviously the bad guy in the movie, and you obviously have to fight him, but in his own way, his logic makes sense to him.

Exactly,

Spoiler:
he's not out for power, wealth and/or domination or even bloodlust, as is the arch-villain trope so many times, he's doing good from his POV; because of a pain he personally witnessed in the past.
Which made me happy, as from the hints we got before (GoTG), he was more like the trope previously. Happy they changed it for this film.

I would have liked more, personally, but what we got was pretty good.

Concerning Hulk:

Spoiler:
Since Hulk didn't do shit in Infinity War, I want to see the truly unstoppable "Savage" Hulk in Avengers 4. Maybe Wanda, or someone else, can "turn off" Banner and let the Hulk go free like Jean Grey did in the Onslaught story line.

Do we still need spoiler tags, it seems like everyone has seen it.

Seems that they had plans for the Hulk in that end fight which was scrapped or changed. Not just with that image Robtard brought up there's also a Funko Pop that's been released of the Hulk bursting out of the hulkbuster suit.

Yes, we do until I specify otherwise. Thanks.

My prediction is

Spoiler:
Banner sees Black Widow get killed by Thanos and that causes him to go ape shit in a way we've not yet seen.

I hope they don't show Hulk rage boosting and stomping Thanos next film (with or without the Gauntlet). That would be dumb because Hulk has never done that in the comics to Thanos.

Not I 🙁

"You were slain by Thanos, for the good of the Universe."

Would have been a cool scene.

don't worry you'll return next May

Randomly: One of the parts that made me chuckle the most was when

Spoiler:
the army at Wakanda started to charge, and Cap and T'Challa peeled ahead without even a shred of irony, because **** non-enhanced people, I guess.

I thought that was a badass moment. And hell, since neither one of them had a lot of screen time you gotta take what you can get.
