I used to frequent these places ehile living in NYC.
Great places to score broken in jeans, biker boots...

Not a thrift shop, but i bought a black leather bomber jacket from a crackhead in the middle of summer for $10(!) when i was 17.
Had it dry cleaned, and owned it till i was 29-30.

So, good places to score items with character, not really my thing, I like the new.

Back then i just went for what i could afford. 😛
