yeah i think someone involved with the film tried to explain this as the reason for the grill. IMO- although that makes sense, I think it was mostly for damage control and the "ice grill" is there to compliment his edgy hot topic look.

The one thing I was thinking while watching Suicide Squad's trailer was that, while there was an initial outcry about Joker having his tattoos, I think it's a bit premature to say so.

In the trailer, we're only shown Joker when he's torturing Harleen so that he can, presumably, break her until she becomes Harley Quinn. If enough time passes between that and the present of the movie, then it wouldn't surprise me if the Joker gets a makeover in the meantime too. And, iirc, they did tell us that the Joker would appear without tattoos in the final movie.

That's assuming we see him in the present too.

I'm half and half about the film either way, but I thought the trailer was encouraging.

I hardly have any problem with the tattoos. They are barely noticeable.

"Damaged" was the only one I found highly problematic and thankfully it's gone.

All the tattoos in the early promo pic , including the "Damaged" on the forehead are still there in the trailer. Look @ 2:42
They were also in the set pics.

Joker is going to look exactly like he did in the promo pic. Everything points to this so far.

God dammit didn't notice that. As long as it isn't too noticeable, like in the trailer, it's not a big deal... The rest though are fine.

Been reading WB's have been doing their best to take down the pirated footage & they didn't want that footage to represent the film by its poor quality

that's why they put it out officially.

Looks like the GA are loving this. This and BVS are the top trending world wide and people are coming around to the Joker. The trailer was solid enough and that's all it was, a teaser. Can't wait for the official theatrical trailer.

My favorite part was the gut with the Batman mask and the assault rifle. Makes me laugh every time.

I agree with Ayer, DC does have the better villains. 👆

Never read the comics but judging by the trailer, the Squad's put together to take The Joker down?

That's tough, both the big two have good villains. But I think Marvel would be guilty of more frequently like, turning their allegiances. Like, oh this bad guy is popular, let's make him a good guy.

Spider-Man's got some of the best villains, and Marvel have access to them now. (Technically they're Marvel villains anyway).

Perhaps they will get the FF's rogue gallery soon as well looking at the state of the FF pic.

Spidey's rogues are pretty good. As are a lot of the X-Villains
