Theory on the "Hot Topic" Joker. (not by me)
Spoiler:
Jason Todd is the new joker.>looks visually younger than Bruce Wayne
>teeth busted by the crowbar beating he took from the original Joker and has to have grills now
>went nuts after being tortured by the real joker
>tortures Harleem Quinzel (seen on the trailer) so she can become crazy like he did when he was tortured
>the robin suit was shown in the trailer after Batfleck asks "how many good guys stayed that way?"
>has an DAMAGED tattoo on his forehead, well, you know, because he was DAMAGED by the original joker
>has a dead robin tattoo on his arm
>Had the tattoos forcefully put on his by OG Joker.
>new Joker emerges, an insane Robin who Bruce presumed was dead, during/after the events of BvS. It would explain that 'YOU KILLED YOUR FAMILY' newspaper cover, because the real Joker doesn't know Batman's true identity.
Sounded stupid as fuq at first, but this wouldn't be so bad and would explain the "un-joker" like things going on with this Leto version.
Still stupid non the less but could be a bit more tolerable than what it seems to be now.

The fillings and tats are a change. But otherwise, he looks almost very much like Joker, specifically Morrison's version. He certainly looks far more comic accurate the Ledger's.
When did i say Heath's Joker was comic accurate? We're talking about your claims that Leto Joker is accurate. "Most accurate yet" means jack and shit considering it's still not that accurate.
If it's not faithful to a traditionally known standard of the character, calling it "un-joker" is an accurate assessment. i guess i just don't get what your point is in disagreeing with Inhuman's "un-joker" comment.

I've already made it clear that I'm not a fan of how he looks, but thankfully, my biggest problem with the design the "damaged" tat, seems to be barely noticeable.
Anyway, with that out of the way, the tats really aren't a big change IMO. Sure, he normally doesn't have them but they do fit his character. The fillings are the bigger change (though one I have no real problem with) as it changes his smile. And visually, he seems to be the most comic accurate yet. I never said he was completely accurate though nor implied it.
More important than all of that though, and the real reason why I disagreed with the '"un-joker" like' comment was because of his personality. From the, admittedly, very little we see of him in the trailer it seems they nailed it. We'll see if this holds true for the rest of the movie, but I now have faith in this film.
Edit: not a fan of the laugh though. Hope we get a better one.

but you've acknowledged the changes in regards to the physical appearance, which is all Inhuman was talking about when he said "un-joker". Inhuman didn't say anything about Leto's personality.
