Think they're close to dead already.

No way critics give JL a free pass with Snyder at the helm again.

Critic score will effect the OW numbers now though.

The only thing that might save it is the embargo ending so close to the film release, when so many people have already booked their tickets.

OW doesn't get affected that much. It's the weekend after that will decide if it has good WOM.

It does. You can't tell me BvS's OW wasn't effected by the poor critic score.

FIRE SNYDER....FIRE SNYDER... Is the one and only hope the DCEU has

I rather get a good movie that doesn't make tons of money than A bad movie that makes tons of money.

Of course.

They've made it clear they're keeping him up to Justice League at least. Besides doubt he'd get the blame for SS.

I've seen reviews that have been good, and some that have been bad. As always, think i'm just gonna wait and see. Should be heading to see this next Wednesday, so fingers crossed.

How much was it truly effected?

By at least 20mill IMO.

I hope it is at least mixed reaction, and not everyone saying its bad.

If it's better than BvS (shouldn't be too hard) and MoS (not as easy as some might say), I'll be happy. Even with JL looking awful, it'll be a step in the right direction.

I just really hope they don't **** up Joker and Harley.

Well apparently the verdict on Joker isn't good. And Harley is getting mixed reviews.

I'd be surprised if Leto did a shit job in the role.

my only displeasure with him in the role has been from an aesthetic pov, and that's not his fault... i don't think he had input on the costuming. If he did, then boo on him.

It will be disappointing if Leto's Joker turns out to be bad though I'll just wait to see the movie.

Should at least be better than BvS and I do realize how terrible that comparison seems at face value.

Paying for something you're not sure of is a chump's game, even for comic releases. There are just too many of them. They have to earn it, and there's almost literally no movie I need to see opening week.

To answer Zack's question, mixed or poor reviews cost them my money. An infinitessimal amount, granted, but the point is microcosmic. I'm far from the only one.

Only (spoiler-free) review I've seen so far was brutally negative. I'm probably waiting on this one, even as fun as the trailers have looked.

The reviews are as I feared, and the butthurt comment the director said about Marvel certainly didn't help, but still interested enough to see this and judge for myself.

lmao

DC just can't get their shit together. I wasn't expecting much after BvS but even still these reviews are disappointing.

It's half price day, and I want to see for myself, personally.

Oh, I didn't mean anything toward anyone with the chump comment. It's movies, after all. People can see anything they want. It's just not something I can stomach personally anymore. I see like three movies a year in theaters these days, despite watching a lot of movies overall. I'm just usually a few months behind.

Hope you enjoy it. 👆

Apparently this film has a 175 million production budget.

With the sub par reviews and lack of Chinese release this film will most likely be a bust.

How are you estimating that? Consensus is that reviews don't really impact ow all that much. WOM kicks in right after 1st weekend.
