Superman was aware what happened, he even got the 1st hit in, just because it was surprising the astro force could knock him out does not mean that orion cheap shotted him.

The scan of superman getting knocked out is only to support the scan stating that they are equal, showing that it is not the only time they have been shown to be on par with one another.

I'm pointing-out how you're ignoring the later scan that seems to indicate writer intention, and pointing-out I had acknowledged your "they're equals" statement but POINTED-OUT things you missed. I think you didn't even read DEATH OF THE NEW GODS with the stuff you're leaving out. That or you're playing dumb when exposed.

So, do you want to make a thread for this? Perhaps a Battlezone debate? We can start looking for judges at this very moment.

Don't see why people thinks Orion and Superman as equals tbh. Superman clearly holds an edge.

I'm not really taking sides here, but I would like to point out something. In this very scan that you provided taken from Death of the New Gods; Superman is ready for Orion's Astro blast, and he effortlessly no sells it. In the other scan that Delta reasonably claims that Superman was unprepared, he gets stunned senseless. So aside from the context stating that Superman was unprepared for the attack, I think Delta has a good point.

22 pages and thingy has yet to prove Orion has better speed/reflexes than Thor 😐

I have been away but what do you want to debate about? Are you debating superman is greater than orion. Orion is literally stated to be on the same level as superman and the whole fight shows them fighting evenly. Your scan does not matter that Clark says he was not ready, it shows him ready because he dodges multiple shots and gets the 1st shot off. How can you say that superman and orion are not equal when it is stated they are. The fights do not matter they are stated to be equal.

No amount of suprrman scans will Change the fact that they sre stated to be equal.

I am not going to battlezone right now because i am traveling, you cannot prove superman is greater with superman scans, that would be moot, orion has been stated to be the equal of superman and no amount of scans are going to prove that wrong.

As far as I know, Superman is a flagship character. Flagship characters have the GLOW. Orion is not a flagship character, so no matter what happens DC will always give their boy better feats to show that he is the top dog on the food chain. Superman can do anything that the story demands. I wouldn't want to be repping for Orion in a Battle Zone against Superman. One comment just isn't enough.

Feats for superman do nothing to further the argument because orion does not have as many feats because he is not the most popular superhero in the world(superman being the most popular).

Using feats as superiority does not work when they have been stated to be equals. Orion also was able to knock out superman, clark said that he was caught by surprise but all that means is that he was not fighting to the full extent of his ability, his durability however, orion managed to get past.

I'm not going to use a whole bunch of feats, but comparative showings relevant between the two. You have no excuse beyond being busy. But I understand. You WILL be destroyed if you accept.

And if the only showing you have is of him surprising him, then it's just empty statements.

I mean, as an example, Captain Marvel (Billy) is known as the World's Mightiest Mortal. Does that make him mightier than everyone else? It's just a title, just a statement.

How many times has Superman been punched by someone, and he goes, wow, that is the hardest I have ever been punched - does that make that person stronger than Darkseid/Orion?

Or when Wonder Woman says Zoom punches harder than Superman - would you accept that?

Or when the Sentry has supposedly stalemated Galactus, and yet, lost to the Hulk - does that make Hulk > Galactus?

Superman hit orion and then they fight evenly while it is also stated that they are evenly matched.

Orion and superman fight again, superman gets one shotted, even if superman was not ready to get one shotted, he got hit once and he went down.

Go into a battlezone with your showings. Delta has a few. We can see who has more 🙂

Edit: btw, lol, your scan has DARKSEID saying that Superman's might rivals his. And you said Orion> Darkseid. Therefore, you're actually saying that Orion > Superman, correct?
