Dragon Ball Z: Revival of "F"

This all just screa of lazy to me. I hope it goes well though.

I always knew Frieza never trained, his race just discovered transformations for greater power but now that he allegedly trained he's one of the most powerful characters in the history of the anime.

It is really shitty however to know now that his ass just needed to train and he would have been billions of times more powerful than his previous final form. SMH

Lazy? Hell yes. As much as the character in your sig? Not nearly enough 😱

Has it even been confirmed that Frieza's has been training to get that power? Do we know its not an outside force powering him? As much as Frieza fans would love him being able to power up like that in so short a time, that would be some seriously shitty writing. I still want a good story lol otherwise they should have just left Frieza's ass dead.

Training just *works better* the further one is in the story.

Training that once required sacred water, training from the gods, and similar, can be replicated by other people on their own if they wait a saga or two.

Not if hes only been training for FOUR months. At that rate he would be able to trash bils and all the rest of the gods in no time.

Training has always been a big deal in Dragonball, which is nice. That is one of the reasons Vegeta could never beat Freeza on Namek. He relied too much on his Saiyan ability to Zenkai to victory whereas Goku went through blood sweat and tears. So now they are making Freeza realize this and so he decides to train and not rely on his natural talent. This makes him the opposite of Goku, who got his God Mode because of his buddies and feels legit bad that he did not earn it.

But you are right, the jump in power is monstrously stupid. A couple of years of hard training would work much better.

Freeza must've found something like a Hyperbolic Time Chamber to get where he is. Four months is kinda hard to swallow.

I think I might have missed something but how is Frieza able to have a physical body to train in assuming he did the training in the afterlife thought evil folk couldn't keep their bodies.

He got revived before doing the training. HFIL seems different in the manga.

The tie in manga for all of this silliness lol.

Well this is still pretty stupid. Not as stupid as what I thought was happening but still pretty dumb.

I'm digging it thematically.

That...would be a cool idea. If he found his way into the hyperbolic time chamber, or maybe a backdoor into that "Dimension", that would be a pretty cool story device.

If Freiza was in the HTC for 4 months... well that would be 120 days which would be 120 years. In which case he ****ing deserves to beat all of fiction up with his dick.

I saw the trailer on Frieza and I'll say that I do like his golden transformation and beating Goku, I guess if he was going to be revived with new power it would be sensible to let him shine some. My curiosity is why didn't Goku use his SSJ transformation, if Goku could rough him up in his golden form then it would be reasonable that Goku as SSJ could beat Frieza. Does anyone know if Goku will undergo training with Whis that would produce a similar effect to Gohan's Mystic Power or is Goku just playing with Frieza?

I'm not really impressed with Frieza's new form, but it's not something I can't get used to.

Vegeta did imply that that Frieza transformed to preserve his energy.

So his final form would technically be his original form; with the first-, second- and third form being suppressed states.

Thinking of it like this it makes sense that his new form doesn't follow the theme of his previous transformations.

See. It's kinda dumb that the writer just made him train for more power and that's that as if becoming the most powerful character wasn't in Freiza's mind all along.

Toriyama wanted to stop at Frieza's death and this is why.

I kind of wonder if Toriyama stopped caring even before that. You read the old Dragon Ball, and it felt like he was having a lot more fun with it.

Gee it's like drawing manga becomes a job instead of a hobby.
