Captain Britain vs Ares

Looks affective to me and it would kill Britain.

Of course he died by Void Sentry. He was too powerful. That wasn't the point of my post. The point is, Ares holds every advantage in this fight.

As for the Walker fight...he admitted Walker was too much for him and was about to get crushed until he clamped Walker wings together. Plot.

He did lose to Herc via boasting. He had Herc on the ropes at one point, then he decided to ask him to give up. Really. You haven't shown anything that puts Brit on Ares level.

You left out some scans. Mainly of Ares getting wrecked and dying.

There's also, you know, Britain having superior strength, durability and speed feats 🙂

There's also the fact that Excalibur prevents people from dying while they're holding it.... so good luck killing him.

You are clearly missing the point. Ares has a one shot kill weapon. Ares will land a lick...lots of them. Captain Britain can not afford to be stabbed. What does this lead to, a stomp. No one is saying Ares could beat Chaos King or Voided out Sentry but looking at the damaged he outputs, that's proof enough that he could one shot kill Brit. Now do you comprehend this or do I need to break it down even further for you? Let me know.

Why post that fight then when it is meaningless? Air walker was far above him. Captain Britain even admits this. How did Cap win? He was getting the life squeezed out of him and decided to put Air Walker wings together. Do you think Ares could replicate this? I do. Hell, Ares would've been a better challenge against Air Walker based off his fts.

What superior fts does Britain have. Name them.

Show me Captain Britain surviving a fatal wound.

The damage he output? They are completely unaffected.

How can you one-shot kill Britain when he is

c) Has a forcefield

d) CAN NOT DIE WITH EXCALIBUR

He survied a blast by the powered up Fury, which was enough to kill MiracleMan.

He took Binary letting loose and knocked out several imperial guardians after.

He has dodged bullets instinctively.

He can knock out people with nerve-pinches.

He's skilled enough to fight The Black Knight.

I didn't really look at the big picture when I made this thread......but Ares is ****ed...

Well it isn't spite Kris. Britain pulls punches and fights rather level headed. Ares goes all out and is a brutal fighter. So a case can be made for either although based off feats Britain is no doubt superior.

Yea well carver is only championing ares due to his fight with skaar. To admit Britain is better would somehow (in his mind) lower skaars standing.

No one said he isn't skilled but Ares would work him.

He doesn't have to die with a fatal wound. Taking him out long enough does constitute as a forum win. What's Britain best healing ft and is Excalibur standard equipment?

Britain is smarter than Ares but this is a fight. Doesn't matter about intelligence when your opponent is more powerful than you.

Lol...so you are impressed with Britain withstanding attacks from Binary? Gotcha. Here, Binary was trying to kill Rogue (we all know why). Binary punch Rogue so hard that it sent her flying to the moon. This same Binary was contained by Colossus.

Oh come on. You and i (and everyone on this forum for that matter matter) knows that any loss that would detract from the house that banner built would cause u to get all butt hurt. Britain with full use of his abilities with cis off would wreck ares. Ares has no legitimate wins except in his solo series..

Ares can whip out some power every now and then. He beat Abomination, slugged it out with scar, was even with Hercules. He doesn't have a lot of wins, but he's pretty tough.,
