Britain wouldn't have come close to doing that, unless again, you have proof.
Ares losing to these people isn't the issue. It's the fact that he was capable of standing up to them, even having an advantage at some point. We've seen Brit in similar situations, against powerhouses and he gets stomped. Not even a fight. Do you not understand this? Do you not understand this Sin I am?

Yeah, but obviously there are degrees of wins and losses.
It's like when Thor beat Nul. Did he win? Sure. Does anyone really hold it against Nul? Not really. The circumstances matter.
And A-bomb is pretty freaking strong. He took the Sam beating that killed the original abomination.
The Skaar fight was just some heavy shots from both with no winner.
😂
yeah, after all this, it's still extremely close. i don't think flight would make a difference. brian would fight on ares' terms far more often than not, and it would only take one solid, intent-to-kill blow from that axe to end this or make it nearly impossible for cap to win. i'd take ares for a slight majority if cap doesn't have his sword.
if he has his sword, it's a different battle altogether and cap would win it most of the time.
