I think everyone should be able to pick two abilities, one defensive and other offensive. To prevent anyone from becoming OP the main ability is capped at low herald and the secondary at high or mid meta. Just a thought. 😛
We're too entrenched in the current power setup. No way this suggestion goes through. It would literally change everything, and invalidate 53 pages of glorious chaos. Sorry.
Yeah. Obv, having posted my writeup and with people reading it, there will be:
A: people now gunning for me, and;
B: people changing their strategies (I can hear Carver rewriting every time somebody posts, and praying I die by another's hand lol).
Suffice to say, there is a good chance I do not survive, not IF there are global-level telepaths wanting to take me out at the bell AND lightspeedsters going for me lol. My strategy was hanging on making it into the Spot World in the first second or so of the match, from where I could then strike. I have posted my tactics, and with that prior knowledge it is going to be VERY difficult for people to ignore that I have suddenly jumped up in threat level .
But that's OK. Hopefully, this opened people's eyes to the danger someone like the Spot presents, and hopefully I used his powers in a new and interesting way rather than just 'I open a portal, and stab someone'.

I was going with the scenario where I beat him when he takes a moment to track and reveal my location to you.I don't know what you're going to do, but that cuts both ways: you don't enter the match allied with Golgo. I was being nice to allow you a guaranteed way out.
I have another option if I need it, but I think I could manage a body swap. Jean wasn't getting stalemated, she was straight up losing when she did that.
Thanks, but to be honest, it wouldn't do much good.
In this thread, we pick powers, not characters. So h1, abhi and celey all picked 'speed'. Which means if Celey is using speeds of lightspeed, of course, the other 2 can also do that. Which means we have 3 lightspeeders all running around. They might fight, they might team up, they might even meet and have a massive conversation, and divide us all up - and we still wouldn't have even moved.
The two furthest cities apart on Earth are around 20,000km apart, between a Chinese city and an Argentinian city.
At the speed of light, that's 7 milliseconds. So on average, as most of us are in the US, with h1 and (presumably) celey, the speedsters would have gotten you a looooong time ago.

Has anyone figured out how to deal with the speed blitz from Celehyuga? I've got something planned for myself, but I wonder what everyone else's strategy is?

DS, don't worry.Abhi and H1 can't do lightspeed.
Abhi is practically lightspeed, but he needs to rev up and shit. Can't do it in 0.1 seconds.
H1 ain't even close.

Even practically - I mean, I used the 20,000km as an extreme, whereas (apart from Abhi, of course), the others are all much much closer. That scan of Makkari Doppler shifting whilst everyone else is frozen in time is very compelling, lol.

Most people picked very specific powersets with 1-2 characters to draw feats from. I've got tons of ridiculously powerful telepaths...including Shadow King( can't believe I get to use him lmao). The death of my body is not necessarily the end for me.
krisblaze tried to you warn y'all. uhuh
okey dokey, throwing my hat into the ring for the giggles. power: size manipulation (small and large+ability to shrink and grow other things/objects) ala palmer/pym et. al., haven't yet gone through all this, but i immediately shrink to sub-atomic size as it seems immediate responses are necessary. i'll throw something more formal together soon and let y'all know how i plan to kill you all. 🙂
