Because in game, you CAN die. So, your assertion is baseless.
As for the reactions, I don't think you understand. You wouldn't even know that you're being attacked. You'd be sleeping/eating/doing whatever you want when relaxing or whatever.....and suddenly your blood is gone.
Even IF you CAN react to it (incredibly doubtful, unless you are going to prove that you will be constaly on guard, 24/7, for months whilst I wait), what will you do??? The portal is inside you, draining you. It is a part of you. You're going...run? Jump away? Great, that just gets your blood pumping faster, and draining quicker. Assuming you can even do anything about it.

Reflasssh is with me.
A: Blair Wind has given all of us a device that tells us where everyone else is within a 50 mile radius.
B: My good buddy Reflasssh has allied himself with me. He has incredible luck. I ask him, hey, Reflasssh buddy, where in this circle should I open a portal to get Spawning? He'd say erm, I dunno, just open it here....and would choose randomly.
Bam.
This is IF I am unable to locate you. In the comics, the Spot (and Coyote) are able to open portals wherever they want. Spot even opens holes mid battle with Spiderman, who's pretty damn fast and agile. So my point is, predicting where Spiderman is going to be in the middle of a battle is damn impossible - yet Spot ALWAYS manages to open a portal right where he is able to punch/kick Spidey. IOW, my suspicion is that the portals - just open.
But of course, I cannot prove my theory. Hence, Reflasssh.

Nope, hence the asking of proof.
Have you read any Spot comics?
I want you to imagine your day when you're in this new city of Blair's. Yes, you'll be hunted, but you'll still need downtime. You'll need to sleep, you'll need to eat, drink, rest. I can take my time when I am in the Spot World - nothing anybody else can do to stop me.
At ANY point over the next few weeks, or months, or years, when you are least expecting it - I can send you to the bottom of the Atlantic.
Btw, you can't tamper with Blair's locator devices.
Delph raised some cogent rebuttals to DS's strategy, and I don't think they've been adequately addressed. DS has some speculation and hyperbole, and the burden of proof is on him with his sun strategy. So far I've seen nothing convincing.

Ok, so there's your potential endgame for our battle. However, I want to point out that this isn't a refutation of my "scoop & smash" strategy. It's just saying you'll get me before I get you. If I can get to your location before you're able to take me out, it's game over.

Both DS and I strongly considered Palmer's shrinking ability. Great minds...

Delph's rebuttals were mainly due to moving the material - my point was that the equalisation of pressure would mean the sun would be pushing it into our atmosphere.
With regards to distance, I mean, I can always use the 'Delph is using all technopaths in fiction...so I am using all Spot's feats in fiction' card....
In the animated series, his spot was growing large enough to pull the entire Earth through it....and was opened in space.
Edit: had the potential to grow that large.

Show isn't canon, and one person's no limits (or greatly expanded limits) argument does not justify another. Delph still has to demonstrate justification for his strategy, as do you.
It would be tempting to turn this into an arms race of hyperbole. Fortunately, I'm here. 😉
@Spawining...
The humans probably would've died off with all of the global attacks going on.
Let me continue with my plan. Here, Shaman creates a storm that is tearing through everything. Per this scene, it was spread across the continent. This scene also tells us that the storm would kill any normal man. This happened during one of Storms weaker moments and she was able to diffuse this weather. Even though it was magic based.

This scene displays continental levels of control but I want to go higher than that. I will probably need more power. On average I draw my power from the planet but I need more. I decide to pull more power from the Stars themselves.

I have no worries because I am the only flier here. The only person that can get to me is Dark but per his post, I'm not his first target.
I gather power...enough power to achieve my goals. Remember, I said I want to take out the main cities. I bombard the city with high end gravity.

Weather comparable to the surface of Jupiter.
As stated before, Storm has caps that holds her power back. I will not have these things. She cares too much, I don't because I'm here to win. This is what happens when Storm let's go (Doom brought out the beast but all of this is within her own power).

As stated here, she did not know SHE was capable of such things.

Becoming one with the planet. Possessing unlimited power. She didn't know because she always held back. Mental blocks. I will do no such thing. I'm not blocking anything. My goals are to take everyone out as soon as possible. I amp my already unlimited potential. Freeze everything, put large tornadoes over everything. If there are any humans on Earth, they are gone by the time I'm done. No one will have an conduit to jump into. My only concern is Dark and I will find a way to take him out.

That's a fair enough point - Phase 1 will still be in effect, however, and I get to kill all of the others.
Well, IF we stick strictly to the limits shown in the comics, we DO see the Spot casually create a portal linking Brooklyn to Seattle. That's 2800 miles.
Is that, then, the limit shown? In all three dimensions? That still lets me port people into space, and into the Earth's core, and also, pull things from there.
The beauty of my changing of strategies, is of course, that I still do not need to be on Earth. I'd be in the Spot world, attempting to link the two points together.
IF I succeed, you lot all die.
If I do not, I merely fail to open the portal. And am still safe in Spot World.
I could just take all of you technopaths et al, out into the desert, and kick the crap out of you 😈

All of which I'm much more ok with. The sun, however, is numerous orders of magnitude further.

Perhaps the others. I'm dubious anyone can reliably locate me, embedded as I'll be in billions of tons of concrete and steel.
