Some interesting picks. I don't think I have any objections, but there's a couple I'm only passingly knowledgeable about. I'll be interested to hear from others.
Also, Smurph, no Plastic Man?! I had one other guess for Leo - that I was also wrong about - so I suppose my powers of prediction didn't work so well. Didn't affect my picks, but it's fun to try to guess at that kind of stuff.

i think the format really allowed for the opportunity to bring in some different characters. nice. anyone clearly over the line in anyone's opinion? i'm pretty much in digi's camp i think.

I see Nova as the biggest red flag.
I know that his power level has fluctuated a bit since Annihilation, as he's shared the Nova Force and stuff, but his Annihilation power levels were very close to Magneto, if not over the cap - making stargates big enough for 'thousands of star ships', creating wormholes out of the gravity of neutron stars, etc.
In the last attempt at the tiers thread, the votes were pretty heavy in favour to move Nova Prime to mid herald:

in her omega form, i thought she was above emma now? if not in skill, in power, and taking into account her tk i'm pretty sure she'd beat emma down right now. i'm not saying i'm opposed necessarily, but if she has beaten cassie (and we all know what cassandra did to xavier and glads....) and shadow king, she's above emma imo, unless there was some extenuating circumstance i'm unaware of.....? where's her tk currently?

since we'll all know soon enough anyway, i took nova knowing he was pushing the bounds. i talked to a few people who agreed he straddled the border but wasn't way off with guys like mags, vulcan, exodus, graviton and even invincible in the tier. even ray and dr light have some pretty uber showings. he is certainly below gladiator though he gave a decent showing, and more recently was getting his butt kicked by a different strontian and won via psi scramble with his helmet of all things. he was also shown WELL below ss when many mids can at least give ss a run. that said, he straddles the bounds and if the 3 of you decide he should be removed, say the word and i'll redraft, no worries.
Ok, I'd like Digi and Scoob to weigh in. I see Nova as possessing more power but less skill/showings/versatility than Magneto- though Richard's no slouch in those areas either.
Anyways, since we're being forward, I drafted Psylocke.
Her current powers include:
Telepathy, telekinesis, telekinetic weaponry, her psychic knife, and top tier martial arts skills.
She did well against Shadow King, but wasn't shown to be > him. She's also just never shown the scope of power that Emma has - Psylocke has no global telepathy feats to her name that I know of, which is just one example.
As for Cassandra Nova, that's news to me- I've been following the all female X-team that Psylocke is a part of, but I'm behind by a bit - has Cassie reappeared since her Astonishing appearances?
fair enuff. i view him in pretty much the same way you do. he may be more powerful than mags (seems pretty split on the forum) but he doesn't have the same skills. while i agree he can take some mid guys, there are some LH guys who could take him imo. i'll willingly abide by the decisions of you all.

Here's my thoughts:
Betsy DID take it to Cassandra, but only by stabbing her through the head with her psychic knife, which is the 'focused totality of her psychic power', and designed for this purpose. I think the respect thread claiming that she 'overpowered' Cassandra is pretty disingenuous- if Wolverine stabs Thing in the head, it doesn't mean he overpowered Ben.
It also doesn't in any way indicate that she's capable of many of the things that Emma, Chuck, Exodus, Rachel, Jean etc have done with telepathy, only that she's probably capable of KOing them too if she gets in arms length.
I could draft her prior to her latest upgrade, but I'd prefer not to, and I'd point to Charlotte's judgement, because I think she knows Emma well enough to make a fair comparison.
Let me know what you guys think though. It wasn't my intention to sneak someone in under the cap, so I'll happily change the draft if you guys decide that would be appropriate.

I appreciate CDBs input, and would love some unbiased judge or freelance opinions. As for myself, I'm ok with Nova, though I'm only familiar with some of his showings. The mutie spell caster is anotherblank ffor me. I take it she's not too haxx?
