LoLing at the "when Hilary wins it won't be by her own merits" rants going around. Some people (ie micro-penis men) are already shaking at the prospect of a women sitting in the Oval.
Blaxican and I hold the position we do, not because we think Hillary sucks (she does), but because the GOP sucks so hard and has nothing to offer that Hillary will win by default. I don't know about you but if I was a Hillary supporter, that's a hollow victory.
But with Hillary's scandals popping up (no doubt, smear campaigns by the GOP), maybe Hillary will drop out?

Mike Huckabee announced today, he had a good speech. He's used to fighting the Clintons in Arkansas.
Politically it's a strange decision. He really should have run in 2012 when people remembered him and when the race was less tight. This is going to be a very interesting Republican nomination--so many competing personalities it'll be like Game of Thrones.
Which makes me think...
Note that the following comparisons aren't based on my political views but on the personalities/power bases of the respective candidates:
Rand Paul is clearly the Robb Stark (young, principled, the son of a figure with unimpeachable honor), Ted Cruz is Greyjoy (the scowl), Marco Rubio is Renly Baratheon (young, charismatic, probably ****ed because he's out of his depth), Jeb Bush is Stannis Baratheon (the older, more experienced "brother" from Florida), and Mitt Romney would be Tywin Lannister if he were running.

And Sarah Palin is Hodor.

She won't drop out unless it's something like: "Hillary robbed retired Vets out of millions while injecting heroine and having geriatric lesbian sex in a church."
Other than the vet stuff, none of that stuff sounds bad. wee

Yeah, I am sure being one of the most powerful people in the world would taste like bile in her mouth...
If 10 is the best thing in the world, 5 is neutral, and 1 is the worst thing in the world, a hollow victory is a 6.5.
Tasting bile in your mouth is a 3.5.
Our words are not the same. A victory is a victory: it's still good for Hillary supporters. But it won't feel that great if she doesn't win against a decent candidate. It would be like Roosevelt's 1936 win: he didn't have any competition and no one had a chance against him.

No one is Tywin. There's no one that has the "true power in the US but is not actually the president." But Hillary is definitely Lord Varys. Definite power, but not on the throne. Working from the shadows. Is she a bad guy or good guy? Don't know...but lots of connections.
But even that comparison falls short because Hillary doesn't really work all sides of the political parties like Varys.
Why am I taking this comparison so literally? lol It is fun to think about.

I think Hilary is hard to pin down, but I'd say she's a mix of Cersei Lannister and Stannis Baratheon (chip on her shoulder, feels under-appreciated, feels like it's her time, everyone else is a little intimidated by her)
But who's Littlefinger? I'd say Karl Rove, except he hasn't really done anything for a while.
...that we know of....

I think Elizabeth Warren is Daenerys--great promise, lots of people would welcome her if she were a player (and conversely resist her vehemently), but is thus far not in the game, as if she were in another continent doing other stuff..
