This is insane. Imagine the reactions if a white actress was cast as Misty Knight.

This isn't insane. Zendaya is mixed. She's half white and half black. She has some African American features but a lot of white features as well. I don't think it's a problem. Whether not she is good enough to portray MJ is another matter. But Marvel is in charge of casting and making this movie and so far they've been stellar at their casting job. She does look more supermodel than Kirsten Dunst though.

Zendaya is a naturally tan white girl imo. Ironic how there's people angry on the Internet about this choice but if a 100% wHite actress with a golden sun tan got the part these people wouldn't say a word about the choice.

Even with dreadlocks she looks like a tanned white girl.
