Thats... kind of weird. I mean, I guess he never punched anyone in Civil War either and I never even noticed (the entire scene was still awesome), but it's going to be weird. I guess that means he'll have to use his smarts to beat Vulture and Shocker, which is great since thats what Spidey does, but they are going to have a hard time passing up the Spiderman 1-3 fight scenes if he never even hits a villain.

Well, to be fair, comic Spidey also has a long history of holding back, so as not to seriously hurt anyone. Add to that, the jet bridge catch from Civil War puts him in the 20+ tonner range (at least, based on the info I could find), so he'd have to show restraint against anyone without superhuman durability. I think that, depending on how they shoot it, the action scenes could end up being pretty entertaining and creative. But we will have to wait and see.

I rewatched Civil War today though too, and he actually hit multiple people. He'll kick the $hit out of Ant Man, Cap, Falcon, and Winter Soldier, but wont hit his villains? Like I said, weird and a hard sell. I'm sure they'll pull it off somehow though.
Originally posted by InhumanWow. If thats right, that puts him above comic Spidey in strength. Comic Spidey is in the range of 25-30 tons, but that dudes math puts him at significantly above that. Thats pretty insane. The overpowering Bucky's metal arm feat is also pretty impressive considering the fact that that arm overpowered IMs arm and crushed his repulsor in Civil War.

That goes past just pulling punches to avoid hurting people. Dude would have to go around patting criminals to keep from killing them lol.

He should adopt Luke Cage's style of fighting. It's pretty amusing:

Honestly, I felt like the show wasn't as strong as something like Daredevil, but I felt like it definitely had its moments. Like those two shots, for example. There is also a very memorable moment at the end of the first episode that made me cringe pretty hard. The show also has some great music. In fact, I hadn't noticed it initially, but every episode actually has a known RL guest musician in it at some point, going from lesser-famous people, to stars as famous as Method Man.

Looks great. I admit, I had some worries about how the Vulture might look, but I think the design really works.
